4.1 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
This pours a clear, golden amber color with a slight off-white head. The scent is rich with bitter hops and that’s about it. The taste is fairly light and smooth. As far as the hops go, this is a very easy drinking pale ale. Moon Man is good the way it is, but boy it should would be amazing to see this beer with a little thicker volume and hopped up. Clean, refreshing, and delicious; just the way New Glarus makes ‘em.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle at the grandparents. Pours clear light golden, subtle bright white head that persists. Nose is great. Graham cracker, pine and apricot notes, simply bright and airy, potent for a pale ale. Slightly lighter bodied but loaded with citrus juicy hop notes and just enough caramel and cracker malt backing to make this a great pale ale

Slight pine smell. Mild hop taste. Just a slightly hoppy ale really. Less intense than an IPA.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
This was on tap at my cousins wedding and with free beer and wine I had like 6 pints. Orange yellow beer. Nose is grapefruit and biscuits. Tastes of biscuits, crackers, grapefruit, resin, and floral hops. Standard palate. Nice straight up pale ale. Contributed to great evening of fun.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
bottle shared poured a light to medium orange. nose is medium malt base and mild to medium hop....for me this is middle of the road exactly to style. and some people may not care for it because its not extreme. but it covers the basics of an apa and in all respects. easy to drink and not to bitter nicely hopped. good job new glarus

4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
New Glarus Moon Man has a thin-to-medium white head, a small amount of lacing, and a fairly hazy, slightly bubbly, golden appearance. The aroma is of somewhat piney and somewhat citrusy hop resin with background white bread. Taste is of the same elements, with noticeable bitterness. Mouthfeel is medium and soft, and New Glarus Moon Man finishes crisp, refreshing, and easy drinking. RJT

Bottle to pint glass. Clear, pale, gold. One finger white head. Citrusy nose. Med body, crisp, clean, a decent standard pale, nothing to get too excited about.

4.3 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
This was poured into a pint glass.
The appearance was a hazy golden orange color. A one finger white foamy head that dissipated within less than thirty seconds leaving some light lacing sticking and then sliding down into the beer.
The smell was awesome. Pure light spicy infused sweet citrus blend to bitter pine tones, full and graceful under my nose.
The taste was superb as it had the spice combine awesome with the sweet subtly to lead to a semi-wet citrus/dry piney aftertaste and finish.
On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a fairly decent sessionability about it. The carbonation was somewhat sharp but still good for its style and for me. This one was definitely sessionable and would be exceptional with its respected food.
Overall, I say this was an exceptional APA that I’m so glad to have tried.
