Pours golden yellow, faintly hazy. Fluffy white head, recesdes to thin lasting lace cap. Aroma is assertive citrus, lemon and grapefruit. Beautifully balanced on the tongue. The citrus shows up before liquid touches the tongue, a cushioning layer of malt lays down coated with lemony citrus, with just enough bitter to keep it fresh. This is citrus zest as opposed to citrus pith - delicate not harsh. The malts create a substance and a light roasted biscuit base. It even manages to tickle the sweet receptors on the way by. Nicely done.

12 oz. bottle thanks to queenholly. Transparent gold with lasting head retention. Aroma is nice, floral and pine hops. Favors displays the floral hops upfront, pale malts provide a bready base. Citrus and hints of pine hops round off the flavors. Light lingering bitterness. It’s a tad on the simple side, yet tasty and well made nevertheless.

This bottle bombed. Very cloudy lemon. Nose is very weak, minor piney and floral. Taste is interesting, honey, lemon and sweet. Another easy drinker from new glares. Would make a good fishing beer.

Bottle from the sample pack. Honestly, didn’t know what to think of this, but when my wife and I tried the first bottle it was a fight for the rest. Golden pour smells of big citrus, orange, and lightly sweet malts. Taste shows a bit of tropical notes on top of the citrus. Really freaking nice pale ale. Could drink all damn day. Just well balance and big flavor for a 5%.

Bottle pours dark yellow with generous pale yellow head. Pleasant citrus aroma. Taste citrus, caramel. Medium palate. Finish slight to moderate hops, unassuming. Really well done sessionable balances APA. Maybe a bit mild compared to many hoppy beers but overall it works very well.

Poured from a 12oz bottle. Aroma is orange, citrus, lemon, and grapefruit. Flavors are citrus, grapefruit, orange peel, and a nice malt backbone. This beer is hop forward but very balanced, it’s got a really nice bright hop character, just a great pale ale overall!

Hazy yellow orange with a large, frothy white head. Aroma: zesty hops, orange peel, soft cheese. Subdued bitterness - light leather, spruce, grapefruit rind, vanilla cookies, sweet wheat. A pretty mellow, unexciting pale ale, though it is easy drinking and solidly made.
