COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Moon Man is a seriously cool cat. Always comfortable in his own skin, he never tries too hard. So cool we named our "no coast" pale ale after him. You hold a session beer with a bright bold blend of five hops that flirt obligingly with the smooth malty backside. Donít let this one lay around it is brewed to be enjoyed today. Bold and engaging without pretense, because in Wisconsin you do not have to be extreme to be real. Just be.

Extremely unique flavor. Never tasted hopps quite like this. Almost overwhelmingly hoppy, but I can never get enough hopps. Definitely one of my favorite beers of all time!

This could be by far one of the best pale ales I have ever had! Great hop flavor and very drinkable. It could be a great every day drinking beer, If only they would leave Wisconsin. I guess I will drive to get it

UPDATED: JAN 13, 2013 Bottled 1152 Enjoyed this fine pale ale each evening of our trip to Door County, Wisconsin. What a GREAT beer for the calories and ABV! Wow! Wonderful aroma, well balanced with a nice, dry finish. Simply an awesome offering from New Glarus! For me, this may be close to being, the perfect beer!

As far as Pale Ales go, this one is top notch. As far as any beer goes, this is one of the best beers there is. The hops are in perfect balance, and the fresh, non-bitter aftertaste is as pleasant as the taste.

One of my New favorite beers. This beer is packed with flavor... You can taste the hoppiness, but with very little bitterness. Very similar to Boulevards 80 Acre. I drank it from the bottle... so not much to comment on the appearance.

Pours a amber orange body with a fluffy head. Amazing nose of floral hops, taste is grapefruit, passion fruit with a well balance malty and bitter finish. Nice session beer.

Golden with medium white head, lasts quite awhile. Aroma is unreal. Floral/grass up front, orange and grapefruit zest, light pine resin, mango/apricot, light cereal/pils malt backbone. Tons going on, but never in your face. Flavor on par with aroma, citrus and pine play bigger roles, as does the pils malt in the finish. Medium to lively carbonation, soft billowy mouthfeel. Nothing overdone, perfect balance. Great session. Probably the best APA iíve ever had.

Special shout-out to Jacob, a.k.a. ďSud SavantĒ for this little gem. Sadly, New Glarus is not distributed in Ohio : (Pours a lovely crystal clear golden orange color and a compact one and a half finger fluffy white head. head that retains and laces beautifully. Exactly what an American Pale Ale should look like.Wonderful aroma of bright citrus, lemongrass, nectarines, piney hops over a doughy malt body. Very nice floral character. Secondary scents of bubblegum and coriander.Taste is not as fruit intensive as the nose. It starts with modest citrus notes; orange, lemon, mango and orange. An assertive pine bite comes through; the hops are all over but not overbearing thanks to a generous malt backbone. The flavors too are very fresh and fruity. There is plenty of fruit character with plenty of citrus and tropical fruit. Very nice balance with a slightly hop-forward pleasant bite..Light crisp mouthfeel with light medium carbonation.Iíve had some mighty fine American Pale Ales: Zombie Dust, Alpha King, Daisy Cutter, AleSmith X. So am I saying Moon Man is as good as these world-class offerings? Almost. We would be splitting hairs at this point. This is a top quality American pale ale from a remarkable Wisconsin brewery that you donít hear a lot about.
