COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Moon Man is a seriously cool cat. Always comfortable in his own skin, he never tries too hard. So cool we named our "no coast" pale ale after him. You hold a session beer with a bright bold blend of five hops that flirt obligingly with the smooth malty backside. Don’t let this one lay around it is brewed to be enjoyed today. Bold and engaging without pretense, because in Wisconsin you do not have to be extreme to be real. Just be.

12 oz bottle. Pours a hazy goldenrod color. Aroma is a strong, grapefruity hops. Flavor is a lot of grapefruit and hops up front, with a smooth, malty finish. Palate is a bit on the thin side. Overall, a great pale ale. I enjoy this one quite a bit!

On tap at New Glarus. Pours a clear hazy golden yellow with white head that fades to moderate lacing and edge head. Aroma is mild - floral hop presence with not much in way of bitterness. Also a slight fruity presence, tropical fruit including banana and pineapple. Flavor is simple and pleasant - hop presence, a bready yeast note, slight fruit sweetness, and a certain light spiciness due to bright carbonation. Overall delicious and quenching with alcohol well-masked. I wouldn’t normally seek out such a subdued beer, but I have to say that this is very well done. Medium bodied, active carbonation and sweet ale yeast finish.

A wonderful pale ale. A citrus bomb. Great orange and tangerine aromas and flavors. hints of tropical fruit too. Just enough of a malt backbone to balance the flavors. Awesome!

Bottle. Thanks Mike. Clear, bright gold pour with a small foamy head that fades to a messy film. Aroma is pretty complex for an APA. Flowers, peaches, pineapple, oranges, and biscuits. Taste is very well balanced. Light bitterness, light sweetness. Pineapple, peaches and flowers show up the most. Touch of pine and sweet malt in the finish. Medium to full body. Nice mouthfeel. Really good APA.

Starts with a nice citrus hop aroma, pours a clear golden with a full white head. Tropical fruit hop notes dominate the flavor, with a touch of biscuit malts. Lingering tropical fruit finish, with a little less bitterness then I was expecting. Light bodied and easy drinking, a nice go to beer.

Taster on tap at Old Fashioned in Madison, Wisconsin. Mostly clear golden orange color. Nice thin bit of white head, especially for a taster. Great retention. Medium body. Smooth, kind of creamy, light crisp lighter carbonation. Light slick in the finish. Great texture. Smooth and soft. Nice citrus hop, light pepper, some grapefruit, clean bready malt, lightly toasty. Moderate bitter taste, more dry finish, light sweet. Pretty impressive, tasty, balanced and full-bodied session IPA.

A smooth a pale ale as there's ever been. This beauty pours a wonderful crisp golden color with slight haze and a small white head. The aroma is faint citrus and piney hops. The taste is a perfectly balanced and smooth pale ale with the ideal carbonation and mouth feel. Goes down smooth with almost no bitterness. I could drink a 6-pack of this with ease due to its excellent smoothness. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle: The aroma consists of light-moderate orange, light peach, light lemon, and a touch of grapefruit. It pours a transparent golden-orange with a one finger white head that eventually fades to a thin film outlined by a soapy ring. There is a good amount of soapy webbing left on the sides of the glass. The flavor starts with a quick dose of citrus with just a hint of peach. The finish has light grapefruit with a touch of lemon/lemon peel. It’s light bodied with light-moderate carbonation. Overall, a solid Pale Ale.
