Moon Man is a seriously cool cat. Always comfortable in his own skin, he never tries too hard. So cool we named our "no coast" pale ale after him. You hold a session beer with a bright bold blend of five hops that flirt obligingly with the smooth malty backside. Don’t let this one lay around it is brewed to be enjoyed today. Bold and engaging without pretense, because in Wisconsin you do not have to be extreme to be real. Just be.

I have to say that I am really sad that this is my last of 6 bottles of this beer. Beer pours clear golden with a well retained egg white head. Aroma is wonderful with fresh juicy citrus hops. Taste is bitter. Very delicous beer. The folks in Wisconsin are very lucky to have New Glrus!!!

Golden color with a moderate off-white head and nice lace. Pale malt with minty to herbal hops in the gradually taking over. Light and airy on the tongue. Little bit of malt and light fruit sweetness quickly escorted away by mild citric hops and white pepper. Slightly quenching. Not quite a pale, with a few saison qualities. 3/10

12oz bottle. Pours golden orange with a foamy white head. Aroma is of hops, grass, and pine. Taste is hops, pine, grass, and soap. Lingering grassy hop taste. Mouthfeel is soapy and very carbonated. Not bad at all.

Bottle at the grandparents. Pours clear light golden, subtle bright white head that persists. Nose is great. Graham cracker, pine and apricot notes, simply bright and airy, potent for a pale ale. Slightly lighter bodied but loaded with citrus juicy hop notes and just enough caramel and cracker malt backing to make this a great pale ale ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Slight pine smell. Mild hop taste. Just a slightly hoppy ale really. Less intense than an IPA.

This was on tap at my cousins wedding and with free beer and wine I had like 6 pints. Orange yellow beer. Nose is grapefruit and biscuits. Tastes of biscuits, crackers, grapefruit, resin, and floral hops. Standard palate. Nice straight up pale ale. Contributed to great evening of fun.

bottle shared poured a light to medium orange. nose is medium malt base and mild to medium hop....for me this is middle of the road exactly to style. and some people may not care for it because its not extreme. but it covers the basics of an apa and in all respects. easy to drink and not to bitter nicely hopped. good job new glarus

New Glarus Moon Man has a thin-to-medium white head, a small amount of lacing, and a fairly hazy, slightly bubbly, golden appearance. The aroma is of somewhat piney and somewhat citrusy hop resin with background white bread. Taste is of the same elements, with noticeable bitterness. Mouthfeel is medium and soft, and New Glarus Moon Man finishes crisp, refreshing, and easy drinking. RJT

Bottle to pint glass. Clear, pale, gold. One finger white head. Citrusy nose. Med body, crisp, clean, a decent standard pale, nothing to get too excited about. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
