COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Wisconsin and European barleys are joined together to create the heart of this intensely malty bier. Norski Honey Bock is accented with fresh clover honey harvested just over the hill from our little brewery. Expect this bier to pour the deepest golden blonde body, crowned with incredible creamy foam. The subtle bouquet is reminiscent of the Old World Hallertau and Saaz Hops.

Sparkling apple juice body with medium-large off-white head. Aroma is moderately sweet, apple, honey, some corn, light herbal. Taste is medium sweet, apple, honey, some herbal, grain, floral, light peach. Light-medium, lightly sticky body -- good heller bock characteristics. Ok, but not up to snuff for this fine brewery.

Not much of a traditional bock, but sweet and full bodied. There is a little hop flavor, but not too much. Nice balance of honey.

Pours gold with a white head and some protein globules. Smells breaddy and is approaching tarte. Tastes of toasted hops, honey, some sticky molasses, some peppery bites on the finish.

Fresh organic honey aroma, warm and fruity. Sweet a bit thinner texture than Staghorn. Dry finish . Alcoholic finish.

UPDATED: JUL 10, 2004 Rerate- 07/12/04: This year the brewery seems to have found DMS. Lots of creamed corn in the aroma and touch in the flavor. Perhaps that is why it was late on the scene. 9/27/02 Small tiny bubbles emerge and climb through the clear golden liquid, creating a heady off white cover. Mild floral and honey aroma. Sweet pale malt flavors with undertones of sweet oranges and dry honey. Quite heavy and filling. Finishes rather dry ad very clean. Outstanding maiback.

Medium yellow hue with an good head and lace. The aroma hints of toasted malts, aromatic hops, citrus, wheat fields and honey, Very floral on the nose. Sweet and silky taste with a lighty bitter and fruity undertone. Thin-bodied with a minor mettalic feel. Not a true bock but more of a hybrid, doesn't fit any style and doesn't really excel at any charcteristics either.

Medium gold color. Largish foamy head. Aroma is slightly floral. A medium bodied beer. Mild malts are sweet. Honey flavor prevalent. Hops are very mild. Very smooth and slightly sweet. Nice tasting beer. I would never have guessed that this is a bock. I like it, but it sure doesn’t taste like most bocks I’ve had. Mouthfeel is thick and round. Finish is clean and very smooth. Aftertaste is slightly sweet

UPDATED: MAR 4, 2005 The body is a gold and slightly orange body. The head is thin and white. Intense aroma of back pepper, honey, and over ripe pears. The body is light and playful with carbonation and a slick, greasy finish. The taste is that springiness that I always seem to notice with Saaz hops. It is honey sweet with a minty finish. Also has some strange hay in the back of the mouth. Interesting but a little too sweet.
