Commercial Description:
Since 1516 Brewers have led the purity revolution. They mandated only four natural ingredients be used to brew beer. This Reinheistgebot law was the first ever food purity regulation and New Glarus Brewmaster Dan Carey has consistently respected our palates by employing yeast, water, barley and hops to explore a wide spectrum of flavor. Today Dan pushes the purity envelope by using Organic Hallertau Hops from Germany with Wisconsin organically malted barley to create a complex and assertively hoppy golden ale. This beer is even natrually carbonated, 100% bottle fermented means you can expect a flavor celebration to dance cleanly across your palate. Raise your glass and toast to Wisconsin’s common sense Revolution.

Thin head of dense bubbles. Recedes sort of quickly. Malty aroma with some oranges, yeast and light grains. Color is a brownish orange. Pretty light bodied with lots of citrus flavors, some roasted grains, a bit of smoke late swallow and more grainy notes. Some sweetness. Kind of generic in flavor. Not bad but nothing really inspirational. Little bit of hops bitterness at the finish. Little bit of alcohol tingle on the gums also. I wonder what the ABV is for this one.

Does Organic beer mean it’s good for me?Pours orange with a thin white head. Aroma is light, not much but some sweet malt and some yeast. Taste is light too, kind of strange dried fruits with a spicy hop bitter finish.Mouthfeel i s light and the beer is drinkable. It’s not terrible, but definitely not my favorite.

Clear yellow with a thin white head and some rings of lacing. Smell is really light and has some yeasty character to it and I don’t get any hops in there at all. Very watery and bland. Has some doughy sweetness but not much more. A hint of hops in the finish - it has that slight bitter bite. Palate is thin but it works with the watery and strange base.

Bottle courtesy of Iowaherkeye. Thanks man!
Pours a nice yellowish color with a moderate lasting whitish head. Smell is pleasant sweet malt, and rather fresh. Taste is somewhat sweet up front followed by a bit of an unpleasant metallic or "organic" flavor. Kind of dull and flavor falls off in the finish, along with a strange unappealing flavor. Perhaps that’s the hops? Doesn’t strike me as a pale ale. Drinkable, but not great.

Bottle from Ryan, Thanks. This one is interesting. Pours out a yellowish orange color, with no head at all. Smell is kind of hoppy, kind of spicy. Taste is smooth and pretty refreshing. No real big bite with hops or anything. Not memorable, but an easy drinker. Would be good if it was really hot outside..

Pours a golden amber color with a slight bit of haze to it. A small head that reduces to a thin foam of bubbles. Aroma malty with some floral hops, less than I would expect though. The taste follows closely after the aroma. Malty with a hops after taste. Nothing to special but not offensive either.

Floral hop aroma. Hazy golden color, with a fluffy head that goes away but leaves good lace. Flavor is very bitter and hoppy, with an aftertaste of a cloying sweet maltyness. Palate is sharp with bitterness but easy drinking never the less.
