Commercial Description:
Since 1516 Brewers have led the purity revolution. They mandated only four natural ingredients be used to brew beer. This Reinheistgebot law was the first ever food purity regulation and New Glarus Brewmaster Dan Carey has consistently respected our palates by employing yeast, water, barley and hops to explore a wide spectrum of flavor. Today Dan pushes the purity envelope by using Organic Hallertau Hops from Germany with Wisconsin organically malted barley to create a complex and assertively hoppy golden ale. This beer is even natrually carbonated, 100% bottle fermented means you can expect a flavor celebration to dance cleanly across your palate. Raise your glass and toast to Wisconsin’s common sense Revolution.

Pours a very cloudy golden body that smell of slight hops, yeast, and bread. Tastes of more bready sweetness and minimal hops aftertaste. A very mild beer that is still good, but probably the worst i have had from NG.

Honey colored with a small white head that ends up blotchy and thin. More malt in the aroma than hop. A very unusual APA. Honey flavor with caramel malt and pine hop. Some candy sugar and spice show up late. Feel is thin but with some zest and moderate bitterness. Very drinkable.

Pours a cloudy orange with a thin, spotty white head. Slightly grainy and semi-sweet pale malty nose has some mild grassy hop notes. Body follows suit with the aroma, some lightly sweet toasted grainy malt flavor and a muted bittering hop presence toward a bittersweet finish. Quite drinkable and not really offensive, just doesn’t seem to have any outstanding characteristics.

Had this one bottled (bottled?!) at the brewery in New Glarus, Wisconsin. Hazy, dark yellow pour with a foamy, off white head, fruity, hoppy nose with a sweet balanced taste. Champagne mouthfeel. Meh.

Pale yellow, mild carbonation. Light fruity flavor, mild hops balance it out. A little bit grainy, but not in an offensive way. Not much to say about this one, would make a good session beer since it isn’t heavy and goes down well.

bottle, from tade with General Gao. Ok aroma, sweet, not a strong aroma, but had some nice subtleties, citrus, cardboard, brown sugar. hazed orangy golden color, small to no head,no lace. sweet bitter flavor, lite body, thin creamy mouthfeel, sweet clean finish. tasty enough, certainly a great lawn mower, aroma got better as it warmed,

Light to medium orange body, thin clumping buff head. Bready, floral nose. Light, sweet body, sugary, with clover honey, floral hops, and light breads. I picked up a touch of alcohol, too. Slightly artificial-tasting. Serviceable and easy to drink.

Cloudy deep glden-yellow beer. Aroma is light and grainy. There is a very nice fresh soft maltiness. the hops are lightly fruity with a soft fresh sweet malt backbone. Low to moderate bitterness. Softly herbal with a bit of light tartness on the back. It’s kind of non-descript. Not bad, but not all that good either.
