Pours a nice yellowish color with a moderate lasting whitish head. Smell is pleasant sweet malt, and rather fresh. Taste is somewhat sweet up front followed by a bit of an unpleasant metallic or "organic" flavor. Kind of dull and flavor falls off in the finish, along with a strange unappealing flavor. Perhaps that’s the hops? Doesn’t strike me as a pale ale. Drinkable, but not great.

Jul 26, 2008 Bottle, pours a hazy yellow-orange body with a little sediment and a yellowish-white head. Aroma of sweet malts, sugar, and a hint of hops. Flavor is more of the same. Medium-bodied with a light, bitter hop and malt finish.

Jul 22, 2008 The last in a series of 4 beers in a mixed pack. Poured a very gold color with a huge head. Not overly hoppy, but well balanced. Not great but good.

Jul 19, 2008 Clean and crisp, but less ale than lager. Bought in a little store in Madison while the wife took the kid back to the hotel. Not too revolutionary of a beer.

Jul 14, 2008 This is very drinkable, but nothing extraordinary. Pours a clear gold, small white head. Clean, malty flavor. Subtle and refreshing.
