1/15/11. Bottle shared at the Sea Bass tasting. Awesome vanilla BA aromas mixed with fantastic spiced cherry. Light spiced cherry flavor with a hint of vanilla and coconut. This is heaven!

UPDATED: MAR 31, 2012 Bottle with James and pat. Pours a clear red with thin head. Amazing smell. Cherries with oaked bourbon. Taste is light, tart, slighty funky. Bourbon cream mellows it out keeping it overly acidic. Ridiculously smooth. So complex.

LCBS 2010. Reddish pour. Cherries and bourbon. Funk and fruit. Flavor is all cherries, bourbon, oak, and some interesting earthy funk. Delicious.

thanks hbmason for sharing-12oz bottle-bottled 8/6/10 Batch 5661-pours a light tan head and copper color. Aroma is bourbon, medium malt-caramel, some tart fruit. Taste is tart/sweet cherry, medium malt-caramel, hint of bourbon in background, some spice hops. Good effervescence. Easy. If they brewed more than 5 bbls I’d drink this all day.

Bottle split with pat and dallas. Pours a hazy amber red body with white lacing. Aroma is absolutely perfect - notes of tart, ripe sour cherries and light Bourbon waves. Mouthfeel is great fruity textures - mistletoe sweet and sour cherries not too much bourbon. Lots of fruit.

Very red hue in the color with a thin white head. Smells like cherries and chardonnay. One of the best beers I’ve ever smelled. Taste is very tart with raspberry and cherry followed by funky brett and oak. AWESOME.

Bottle @ Seabass going away party, Jan15th ’11. Courtesy of Fogdog. New Glarus s’est encore surpassé.

The beer pours light in carbonation, like a muted pink amber with virtually no head. The aroma is outstanding, sweet but subtle cherries with light almost butter crust maybe from the barrels. The flavor starts as an excellent blend of sweet and tart notes that are so pleasant on my palate. This on top of a light body and a soft ending on the palate make this beer outstanding to me.

Bottle @ ratman’s place. Thanks to TheAlum for the generous trade. Dark red, slightly violet appearance with a whitish head. Mild sweet bourbon, slightly oaky, tart cherry aroma. Quite tart cherry, mild bourbon, quite carbonated, mildly funky flavor. Tart fruity aftertaste. Tingly aftertaste. Awesome beer.
