COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Bold floral bouquet sweeps forward, encouraged by the Maris Otter Malt. Ale and Brettanomyces promote complex Brett characters. Dry finish. Alive and still fermenting, this bottle will continue to build carbonation. Pour with care. Brewed 3-23-09. Bottled 6-18-09.

New Batch released in 2011, New Glarus is also considering putting it in six packs.

Bottle from tytoanderso - thanks, man!!! Lovely pour of clear, vibrant gold and a crisp layer of carb sitting on top. Soft fruits and modest brett in the nose, very enticing indeed. The mouthfeel is quite full and very drinkable. Nice dry hops emerge in the flavor (especially the finish), and they merge nicely with the brett and nectarine flavors. Very enjoyable brew - make this one a regular, NG!

Bottle shared by shigadeyo. Poured clear golden color with an average frothy off-white head that was lasting with excellent lacing. Moderate brett, to much floral hop and earthy malt aroma. Medium body with a slick texture and lively carbonation. Medium sour flavor with a medium sour & acidic finish of moderate duration. My expectations where not met.

@ LCRBM 2009. A hazy golden colored beer, with a white head. The aroma of a litte sour bread, with malts. There are hops and fruits like grapes. The taste is sweet with some notes of sour. Some bitterness in the back. The aftertaste is some bitter with sweet.

Bottle. Pours very lightly hazy, dark golden-amber in hue. A small, bubbly head of off-white froth crowns the surface. Sudsy micro spots mostly rejoin the body, leaving little hard lace. The aroma shows a softly toasted malt base with notes of bretty oak, pine needles, dried wildflowers, and hints of cheesy funk. There’s a slightly peppery character that works well with the dry brett yeast. Flavors follow suit, soft caramel malt and toast balanced and enhanced by funky, old oak, zippy brett yeast, and peppery floral hops. The palate is on the drier side, smooth and quaffable despite the 7% ABV. Nice brew, very reminiscent of young Orval, only more floral. I’m excited to try more R&D offerings.

Bottle at lithy’s Septemberfest. Pours gold with tiny floaties and whitish head. The aroma is very herbal with lemongrass and strong lavender. The flavor is lemon, lavender, pepper, various floral notes, and a grassy finish. Pretty good stuff.

Very nice bottle. Golden color with a small head. Aroma has a ton of brett barnyard funk and some tart and sweet fruit. Flavor has a touch of spice with great carbonation. Tons of funky brett and a hint of tartness. Some earth and grass and finishes nice and dry.

Shared at Wild the Wild Beers Are 2009. The aroma is citrus and herbal hops, malts. The color is a nearly clear gold color, slight sentiment. the flavor is caramel malt, citrus. Stangely, I don’t notice the effect of Brett. The finish is citrus hops. Very nicely crafted beer, very enjoyable.

500 ml bottle shared by Joey! Clear gold with a small off white head. Nose of guava flowers, hops, and caramel. Flavor is caramel, cloves, and lightly funky brett. Better than Orval!

Orange, no head.. Weird aroma - woody, but also pactouli (sp) and lavendar and potpouri. Flavor is very dry and funky, with a lot of flowery notes and hins of wod and white wine. Very tasty. Sampled at lithy’s Septemberfest.
