Sweet looking 500mL New Glarus "Euro-style" bottle. Golden color. Floral aroma. Hint of sour. Cat piss, AKA ’Goat Oil’! Flavor of straw, tart. Above and beyond what I’d expect. Sweet and tart. Very nice. Distant fruit of unripened peaches and a good bit of Brett. Dry finish.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
(bottle from MatSciGuy and on-tap at GTMW) Pours hazy light yellow with an off-white head. Right off the bat in the bottled version I smelled an odd medicinal aroma that was reminiscent of Vick’s Vapo-rub, but that quickly subsided. Other aromas of lemon zest, coriander, ginger, mint, and a bit of a skunky note. The taste has some peach and apricot, some bread, and finishes out on a bitter hop note. Thanks Levi!

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bottle, thanks to Bigmmartin. Pours a hazy yellow with thin white head. Aroma is yeast and sweet malts. Notes of citrus and some spices come out as well. On the palate, it is light and refreshing. The flavor pulls out the yeast, almost giving it a banana character. It finishes rather dry. All and all, it was a little weak and not very impressive at all.

16.9 oz bottle 9/13/09 (New Glarus Brewing Co.)-Pours a medium golden body with a decent white head. Aroma of yeast, citrus, and brett. Taste of citrus, with big Brett, and more hops flavor than aroma. This medium bodied brew is a little dry but otherwise very tasty and nicely done.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
500 ml bottle from new glarus... Pours a vivid and golden semi-transparent orange light brown with a quickly dissipating white head... Tangerine and tropical fruit aroma, a little yeast... Crisp and semi-lively citrus and tropical fruit with quite a bit of earthiness and grass. Pithy and semi-bitter finish. Slightly dry.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle from tytoanderso - thanks, man!!! Lovely pour of clear, vibrant gold and a crisp layer of carb sitting on top. Soft fruits and modest brett in the nose, very enticing indeed. The mouthfeel is quite full and very drinkable. Nice dry hops emerge in the flavor (especially the finish), and they merge nicely with the brett and nectarine flavors. Very enjoyable brew - make this one a regular, NG!

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle shared by shigadeyo.
Poured clear golden color with an average frothy off-white head that was lasting with excellent lacing. Moderate brett, to much floral hop and earthy malt aroma. Medium body with a slick texture and lively carbonation. Medium sour flavor with a medium sour & acidic finish of moderate duration.
My expectations where not met.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
@ LCRBM 2009. A hazy golden colored beer, with a white head. The aroma of a litte sour bread, with malts. There are hops and fruits like grapes. The taste is sweet with some notes of sour. Some bitterness in the back. The aftertaste is some bitter with sweet.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bottle. Pours very lightly hazy, dark golden-amber in hue. A small, bubbly head of off-white froth crowns the surface. Sudsy micro spots mostly rejoin the body, leaving little hard lace. The aroma shows a softly toasted malt base with notes of bretty oak, pine needles, dried wildflowers, and hints of cheesy funk. There’s a slightly peppery character that works well with the dry brett yeast. Flavors follow suit, soft caramel malt and toast balanced and enhanced by funky, old oak, zippy brett yeast, and peppery floral hops. The palate is on the drier side, smooth and quaffable despite the 7% ABV. Nice brew, very reminiscent of young Orval, only more floral. I’m excited to try more R&D offerings.

3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle at lithy’s Septemberfest. Pours gold with tiny floaties and whitish head. The aroma is very herbal with lemongrass and strong lavender. The flavor is lemon, lavender, pepper, various floral notes, and a grassy finish. Pretty good stuff.
