4.2 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Pours, as one would expect, a beautiful gold. Super carbonated, huge white head. Aroma is fruity, yeasty and wonderful. Flavor offers more complexity with each sip. Wonderful.

3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
This was brewed 3-23-09 and Iím tasting it on 4-5-2012. The smell reminds me of a museum, kind of a old/musty/sweet smell. I donít mean that in a bad way...it doesnít smell bad at all. Itís hazy gold with a fair amount of sediment. The taste again reminds me of a museum, plus pear on the front end, and kind of citrusy in the back end. Itís a complex and interesting beer to try.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Pours a golden straw color with a finger of white head. Really nice balance of sweet pale malt notes and fruit. Quite a bit of pear and apple with a touch of pineapple. Some light tartness on the nose as well. The flavor is clean and very enjoyable. Great balance of malt and Brett. Somewhat dry but a touch of residual malt sweetness as well as some sweet fruit character. A bit of spice character on the palate which is very nice.

4.1 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bottle: Poured a hazy bright blonde color ale with a super huge foamy head with good retention and some good lacing. Aroma of funky barnyard notes with some light tart notes and some pungy hops are quite nice. Taste is a great mix between some floral dry hops notes with light pungy characteristics mix ion with some notes of funky barnyard ester and a tart finish. Body is full with great carbonation. I though this was a great take on an Orval-like beer style with loads of complex notes.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle, awkward aroma, not quite sour and a weird hoppiness. Itís not quite sour and not quite a golden.... Interesting.

4.2 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
My Bottom Line:
Baguette crusts and tropical fruit rise from this Wild Aleís malt and yeast combo, as a pillowy mouthfeel and a supple flavor profile ensure full-on palate comfort.
Further Personal Perceptions:
-A veil of foam tops the cloudy amber.
-The mouthfeel is chewier than Orval. Itís not as dry or prickly.
-The flavor profile is balanced throughout.
-That is one complex aroma !
-Finishing bitterness is elegant, levelled with the rest of the moderate flavor profile.
-This is supremely drinkable.

3.3 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Bottle from JohnFoxy and samples from a couple of tastings .. . Pours a deep yellow .. great foam head, lacing is spackled on nicely .. . from light brett, can opener, lots of barnyard, light spice, and soap .. . loved this fresher more than aged, age thinned it out quite a bit .. . .
Is that what it is? I thought you let one go! Thatís why I didnít say anything!
Thatís very kind of you! Thank you!

4.2 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 14/20
500ml thanks to... damn.. I forgot. Sorry...
Appearance : Hazy shiny amber with medium foamy head. Great big dense head. Lots of lacing.
Aroma : Big big brett B, very phenolic slightly rubbery with some tropical fruits coming from some brett C or A probably. Really complex brett. Some nice malt come thru with light bready notes.
Taste : Big phenolic brett with great fruits. Light malt. Fairly dry.Light malt on finish with some sticky brett. Persistent finish.
Palate : Great fluffy pillowy generous carbonation.
Overall : Really really interesting. Big brett all around. Malt felt quite shy but you can tell itís there because this doesnít feel like an everyday brett bomb that sometimes lacks depth and balance. This felt very cohesive and even if the brett was in your face, the beer still felt very cohesive. Great persistent finish. Great mix between the fruity tropical brett and the phenolic brett. Highly drinkable. Some compare this to an Orval but I donít really agree. This is nowhere near as dry as an Orval. The brett character here is also more complex. I liked this better than Orval which is too dry for me. This one had a rich finish while still being fairly dry. Amazing stuff.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Big thanks to Deuane for sharing this one with Hojaminbag and myself. Bottle poured into a taster glass.
A - Pours golden yellow with a small half finger tall white head, dissipating down to almost nothing, leaving light lacing down the glass.
S - Smells of crisp brett funk, light grassy hops, and lemon rind. This one is pretty dry from all that brett with the rest of the aromaís helping to balancing it out a bit. Very nice.
T - The brett funk dominates this one. As it begins to die down a bit you pick up some of the lemon, clove, and grassy hops. The finish is a mix of chewy brett and light acidity, lingering for a short time. I enjoyed this one, it was light and easy to drink.
M - Medium body and flavor with moderate carbonation. Light, funky, feel with a small amount of it lingering throughout the finish.
O - I really liked this one. The brett works very well with the rest of the flavors. I would say it is VERY similar to Orval, as it is supposed to be I presume. Very nice stuff.

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Big thanks to Terminus for picking this one up for me some time back. Pours clear golden with a generous sudsy white head. The aroma has a bunch of funk and bugs along with stone fruit, toasty malt, brett and huskiness. Medium body that is on the crisp side with some frothy carbonation that really works to distribute the flavors. It starts out with the notes of the aroma, but it is drier and has a lot of spiciness and pepper. There is also a bit of basement funk and wild characters that have probably developed over the last couple years. The finish has some sulfur and mineral aspects that really seems to work for this pretty well. Quite complex and very great beer. Hopefully Iím able to pick more of this up at some time. Another big winner from New Glarus.
