Bottle, thanks to Bacterial! Pours clear, light amber with white head. Aroma: hell yeah! Smells like a gueuze, actually. Dirty, funky, sour, berries. Not what I expect from NG, really, and I love it. Side note: Iíve loved everything Iíve had from this brewery, from the most "boring" lager to the sweetest of fruit beers, and this is unexpected, delicious, Anyway, back to the rating. Taste: Tart, lightly sweet, dirty funky finish. Light to medium body, decent carbonation. Overall: A departure, and really damned nice. NG can fucking brew.

Poured a light yellowish orange color with aromas of citrus, tartness, brett and some light peach. Flavors are the same, light tart fruit throughout that was very enjoyable. Thanks for the share.

Pours a light orange with a decent head and some lacing on the glass.

The aroma has some apple skin & barnyard funkiness/downright animal sweat.... plenty of lemon rind and lemony brightness. The vinegar character is present but is very mild.

The flavor is very tart with a nice lemon rind character... the beer has an earthiness about it and some nice brineiness. Itís sour but itís not vinegary. Nicely dry... & well put together.

Despite New Glarus being one of my favorite breweries, I still approach their sours with a reserved excitement... Iím not really sure why I do that, but this one won me over.

Thin white head, short lived, lace? Naah, but thats ok! Hazy copper colored brew. Spiffy tart nose, cherries, lumber. Medium bodied with a nice carbonation for the style.lil pastey, TART and earthy. Lotsa woody, fruity notes, cherries, apples and grains too. Dry, tart finish. Nice fuckin Sour. Props to MOTORTODDHEAD, my friend, for the bottle! Nice one bro.

Gueuzey, sour, funky hay, whispers of dark fruit. Grassy. Delicious. Surprisingly mature and refined; a true sour from the NG crew.

Bottle shared with Leighton. Enjoyed at 55F in stemware.

A - Burnt reddish orange appearance. 2 finger head that is overall pretty resilient.

S - The nose is spot on to a gueuze from 3 Fonteinen. You get lots of citrus (lemon, orange) and a balance between acidity and oakiness. There are some fruits, tartness and oak

T - Taste is pretty much the same as the nose. Very much like drinking a gueuze which is pretty remarkable. This beer is tart from start to finish, I get a lot of oak, persimmon and peaches. Some sour cherries at the finish.

M - Very nice mouthfeel. Itís full bodied but not syrupy.

O - I enjoyed this a lot. A very classy beer from an awesome brewery.

Bottle, shared by DalzAle at RBSG. Pour is yellow, really tart with some funk. Lots of citrus, very creamy and smooth. The tart Guinnes funk is great, awesome beer.

Bottle courtesy of PaulUnwin. Pours a hazy yellow gold with a small white head. Nose is some funk, earthy brett, oak, lemon, tartness, and some kumquat-esque citrus. Flavor is similar with funk, oak, lemon, brett, and a nice malt presence. Medium in body and nice overall.

Bottle: The aroma consists of big sour lemon, tart citrus, light grapefruit, and a hint of grapefruit. It pours a transparent amber with a minimal white head that quickly fades to a thin ring. The flavor starts with a quick dose of citrus. The finish quickly turns to sour lemon, sour cherry, and sour grapefruit. Itís medium bodied with mild carbonation. Overall, tasting thus blind, I thought it was 3 Fonteinen...really too notch stuff.

Bottle thanks to a trade! Pours a hazy golden amber with a white head that dissipates quickly to the edges. Aroma has a good amount of sour fruits with a nice brett barnyard note with a backing oak. Flavor starts with barnyard notes but has strong sour fruits with a nice oakiness that rounds out the beer.
