500mL bottle, pours a clear dark golden orangey amber with a very small white head. Aroma smells like a gueuze, with loads of bretty funk, citrus, and oak. Flavour is very dry and funky, with loads of bretty funk, some horse blanket, light oak, and citrus. Light-to-mderate tartness; this is mostly a bretty funk bomb. Excellent stuff.

One of the best American Wild Ales I’ve ever had. If it were easier to trade for, I’d love to have more.

Bottle. Thanks, C! Another fantastic treat. Pours a clear bright orangey dark amber with a big sudsy, creamy tan head that goes away. Huge poopy nose right at first, lots of old barnyard funk, plus horse blanket. Creamy medium body with lively carb. Rich grassy and basementy mid palate with some light mineral dryness. Long dry finish. Very nice.

Big thanks to brian for the share. One of the best beers of the night. Very tart with great carbonation and awesome fruity notes. I get some lemon, light tangerine, cracker, dough, with a huge tart zing.

WillRunForBeer supplied. Many thanks! To oversized snifter, it pours a hazy dark orange with which a trim whitish head 1 finger in length stood. Tastes and smells of sour grass, horse blanket, rolled oats, denim, and Swiss cheese. Delectable. Quenching.

UPDATED: MAR 17, 2014 Wow a nice solid sour this is redicious, tons of great sourness and flavors such as lemon, herbs, grasses, oranges, very high carbonation, this complexly and perfectly balanced tartness really made it a rockstar

Bottle. Nice nose of lactic acid, lemon juice, and a light grassy note. Pours a slightly occluded golden orange. Balanced taste of tart lemons, jasmine, and very light floral hops. Rather light body with a pleasant and clean sweet & sour finish. A nice sour.

Bottle shared in NH with AJ - many thanks! Pours lightly hazy, orange-gold with a creamy, white head. The nose is wonderful, classical gueuze in nature, with light grass and lemony funk. Light sweet flavor with strong but balanced sourness, faint lemons and tangerines, and soft, grassy bitterness. Light to medium bodied with fine, massaging carbonation. Great mouthfeel. Balanced sour finish with light bitterness, further lemony tang, mild supporting sweetness. Super clean fresh. Superb.

Orange pour. Funky nose, lemon, very similar to a gueuze. Taste is citrus, funk, tart lemon. Medium mouthfeel.
