Big thanks to Dan for this one. Nice funk and acidity in the nose. Quite funky and Belgian-esque. Very impressive. Earthy with light citrus in the flavor. Mild oak. Moderate acidity. Light. Dry.

Unclear matt medium yellow orange color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, pale malt, caramel, sour malt, old malt. Flavor is moderate to light light heavy sweet and light to moderate acidic with a average to long duration, tart malt - fruity, sour fruit - grape, grapes. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft.

Bottle shared @ Borefts Beer Festival 2015. Pours hazy muddy orange. Aromas of oak, vinegar, tart cherries, light tannic, citrussy, funk. Taste has lots of vanilla, oaky notes, vinegary, tart cherries, tannic, mouldy.

Borefts VII. Day 2. Bottle share thanks to Kermis, cheers Chris. Hazy amber beer, thin white head. Palate is light and crispy. Modest gueuzey wet wood and lemon sourness. Minerals. Dry tart finish. Fine.

[9/26/15] Bottle sample at Borefts Beer Festival 2015 in Bodegraven. Thanks everyone who shared bottles! Cloudy orange. Lovely funky sour aroma with barnyard, oak, fruits. Sour flavor, funky, with sweat, oak, juicy fruitiness. Medium-bodied, lively carbonation. Wonderful stuff.

Hazed orange amber topped with a moderate beige swirl.
Nose is funk, wood must, tarte berries, barnyard, damp hay, gooseberry.
Taste comprises tarte fruit, rotting apple core, grandads shed, balsa wood, funky zip, dirt, musty fence post.
Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close.

Little hazy amber beer, no head. Aroma: funky, brett, pretty complex, woody, spicy touch MF: soft carbon, medium body. Taste: dry, sourish, pretty woody, some tannins, woody. Aftertaste: brett, funky, lemon juice, dry, nice beer!

Sample @ Borefts. Pours murky brown with no head. Aroma of cheese, funk, vinegar, ammoniac, deep oak and some lactic tartness. The taste is sour with some gentle funk, weak plums, cheese, some vinegar and some deep oak. Much more funk than I expected. Good one indeed.

Big THANKS to kermis. Never expected to try one of these. 500 ml. bottle sampled @ Borefts 2015. Day 2. Hazy orange. Nose is huge bran, puckering, funky rustic, big barn & strong oak, puckering, caramel,… Bit thicker & more caramel body and more oak in nose & taste than a Belgian lambiek. Taste is puckering orange, touch caramel, touch basic sour with big barnyard, oak, some caramel malts, touch heavier body, touch stronger puckering quality. A bit more malty body than expected. Good wild quality, complex enough, very nice stuff.
