COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
The voluminous raspberry bouquet will greet you long before your lips touch your glass. Serve this Wisconsin framboise very cold in a champagne flute. Then hold your glass to a light and enjoy the jewel-like sparkle of a very special ale. Oregon proudly shares their harvest of mouth-watering berries, which we ferment spontaneously in large oak vats. Then we employ Wisconsin farmed wheat and year old Hallertau hops to round out this extravaganza of flavor.

Bottle split with DiarmaidBHK - pours clearish ruby with a nice pillowy peachy tan head. The taste is just right. Tart without being cloying or aggressive about it. Makes me want to fly to Wisconsin to get some more! Very tasty!

2-year old 750ml bottle. BIG thanks to beerpig317 for sharing his last bottle with me! Slightly reddish brown color. Thin beige head. Super good tart raspberry smell. Carbonated raspberries and oak. Makes my mouth water. Moderate sweet taste, not cloying, with a big tart raspberry finish. Aftertaste is like I just inhaled a mouthful of raspberries. Lightly syrupy, but a bit dry in the finish. Palate buzzes with tart raspberries long after each sip. Super good, flavorful stuff.

Bottle thanks to adnielsen ! Pours a muddy rust color with a finger or two of eggshell foam. The nose is pure raspberry, touch of vanilla and old barrel notes. The palate is full of ripe juicy berry goodness; cherry, raspberry.. nice tartness leads into a subtle bitterness on the finish.

Aroma of fresh fruit. Appearance was not what I was expecting...nice amber red, with tan head. Beautiful raspberry sweetness, that balances nicely at the end with tartness. Finishes nice an refreshing.

Raspberry tart is awesome. It is not like any beer, even a lambic. The acidity is nice but not beyond accessible. Fruit character is intense but also complex and developed. It seems slightly aged and has what appear to be secondary characteristics. Although the acidity may not be high enough for extended aging, I’d really like to hold on to a few of these to see what happens over time. I’d wager they get more interesting over 3-5 years.

Bottle as pictured. Thanks again to Adam Jackson.Tart berry notes, raspberry puree, lots of berry sweetness that covers up anything else. No artificial fruit at all. Well balanced. Yet the texture is really sticky and syrupy. Really awesome dessert brew and I understand why everybody goes totally crazy for it. High end of the fruit beer style. Easy to drink a fruit beer this well developed.

This beer is as perfect as they come. Completely true to style, with rich flavor, amazing color, and an outstanding aroma. You must find this beer and try it. I have not found it outside of Wisconsin.

Bottle with Ray. Pours a deep maroon with thin head and limited lacing. Smells like fresh homemade raspberry jam. Nice tartness, amazing raspberry flavor. Virtually no alcohol presence. New Glarus continuously makes incredible fruit beers and this is one of my favorites.

750 ml bottle from JStax. Pours a deep red color with a purple hue. Small pink foamy head that fades to a ring. Love the appearance. Smells like delicious raspberry jam. Taste has a nice sweetness which is slightly overpowered by the tart, acidic finish. It’s pretty awesome though, liquid raspberries. Medium to thick body with a nice soft carbonation. Love the mouthfeel, it seems to be silky smooth as your drinking it but then a bit sticky after you swallow. Overall, a small step below Belgian Red to me but still great.

Bomber. Light burgundy. Sweet raspberry aroma. Great balance of sweet and tart.
