The voluminous raspberry bouquet will greet you long before your lips touch your glass. Serve this Wisconsin framboise very cold in a champagne flute. Then hold your glass to a light and enjoy the jewel-like sparkle of a very special ale. Oregon proudly shares their harvest of mouth-watering berries, which we ferment spontaneously in large oak vats. Then we employ Wisconsin farmed wheat and year old Hallertau hops to round out this extravaganza of flavor.

Poured a hazy reddish brown with a thin white head. Nose is huge raspberry with some vegetal notes. Taste is sweet raspberry with minimal tartness. There is also some spice on the backend. Love this beer.

Wow. This is just an amazing beverage. Sweet and refreshing. The depth of flavor New Glarus gets out of their beers is incredible. Pours red with a thin head. Full raspberry flavor is present throughout. Not too tart. A great framboise. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

750ml bottle from Rays in Tosa - cellar aged 6 months and shared at fridge temperature with Randy & Laura for Memorial Day. Pours a pinkish brown with a pink head leaving some lace. Aroma has a very strong raspberry presence, with sweet and tart fruits involved as well. Definitely raspberry-forward. Taste brings more raspberry leading, with some tart fruit presence (cranberries?) and sweetness (apples?) in the mix. Some certain oaky barrel presence. Slightly carbonated. Light to medium bodied. Finishes sweet and tart. Somewhere in the mix between a wine, a wine cooler and a fruit drink. Not their best fruit beer, IMO, but still a very solid, tasty effort.

750mL bottle. Pours a ruby red with big pinkish tinted head, exceptional retention and decent lacing. Nose is a freaking berry farm, sweet like syrup... not sure how tart this ’Tart’ will be (I’m doubtful). Mouth is (as I guessed) pretty damn sweet. Not horrible, but a little too much raspberry soda for my taste -- more like one of those wine coolers the girls were pounding in the 80s. There is wheat evident on the finish, and the mouthfeel too, but the berries overwhelm everything else. Picked this up at a Walmart in WI... which should’ve been my first clue. I may be in the minority, but I just didn’t dig this beer.

Waxed bomber. Dark ruby red with a big pink head and heavy lacing. Tart raspberry, honey, and dry woody notes. Fruity sweetness with puckering tartness. Medium body with a bubbly feel. The tart acidity costs the mouth.

Raspberry on the aroma, with just a hint of yeast. Raspberry on the palate, finishes with just enough tartness to balance out the sweetness from the berries. Amazingly done.

Excellent offering. Pours out with a fluffy slightly off white head. Looks as you would expect with a dark raspberry coloring. The aroma pulls your nose to the glass with an explosion of fresh raspberries. Just a bit of tartness and tons of fresh berries. Excellent job New Glarus.

750ml bottle. Huge thanks to RobertDale via six bottle shipper across America. Pours a dark reddish amber color with a small fizzy off white head. Aroma of sweet and tart fresh raspberries, and hint of funk. Taste is delicious and refreshing. Fresh sweet raspberry purée, followed by a slight tartness, and hints of funk. Soo good!!

UPDATED: MAY 1, 2014 Looks amazing! light red with solid foam. Aroma is sugary raspberry confectionery. Taste is raspberry lollies with sherbert inside. Fizzy. Ashen quality to finish. Definitely a sipper. Too sweet for me but good fun.
