The voluminous raspberry bouquet will greet you long before your lips touch your glass. Serve this Wisconsin framboise very cold in a champagne flute. Then hold your glass to a light and enjoy the jewel-like sparkle of a very special ale. Oregon proudly shares their harvest of mouth-watering berries, which we ferment spontaneously in large oak vats. Then we employ Wisconsin farmed wheat and year old Hallertau hops to round out this extravaganza of flavor.

Pours dark reddish maroon. Sweet malty berry nose. Thick syrupy body. Fizzy. Taste is smooth tart berry. Rivals Belgian red for top of the ng heap.

Bottle date: unk A: pours a cheery brown with 2 fingers of the lightest pink head. This falls quickly to a sheet of the same. No lace. near excellent clarity. S: Raspberries, slightly tart. Not much else. As advertised. T: Sweet with hints of tart raspberries. A little too sweet for my preferences....EDIT: I threw a cork in this and returned to it several days later to find the beer much more enjoyable. A bit of oxidation and flattening out brought the flavors into a more balanced profile. M: Medium body (light syrup) with spritely carbonation. Dry finish makes my mouth water. O: Very fruity and very tasty. I much prefer this to the WI Belgian Red, which has too much cherry on it. Serving type: bottle 07-19-2011

This has to be one of my top rated beers. It's not your typical hop beer. Definitely a fruit beer, but I LOVE fruit, so this is right up my alley. Aroma of awesome cherry and raspberries. Creamy offwhite head which lasts. Fair lacing. Nice tartness which lasts for a long while, eventually leading off to a metallic aftertaste. Plan on burping a ton as this is a highly carbonated beer. Pure awesome sauce. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Good beer. A little too tart for my palate, but the beer label warned me. Good Raspberry tones, decent beer.

Clear, ruby color with a single stream of rising carbonation. Slight, quickly dissipating head with no lacing. Dull and lackluster in appearance. Sweet malt aroma, with no hop aroma to speak of. No yeast aroma, just a strong, tart, raspberry smell. Strong, sweet malt flavor, of tart raspberries. Well-built, slightly complex with a nice herbal hop backbone. As the brewer intended and a great representation of the fruit beer style. Light, smooth and effervescent mouthfeel. Overall, a great beer that I would buy again, although the sweet, tartness can be a little overwhelming.

Bottle shared with multiple others at brew club. Pours a thin white head over a light brown ((SRM 20) body......nose is raspberry, light cereal, no hops, heavy fruity esters from the raspberry.....taste is raspberry, slightly sweet, leading to a mild raspberry sweet finish......mouth feel medium, slightly sticky, slight astrigency, carbonation makes a foamy sensation, with a mild acid finish. Nicely done, raspberry is ascendent, but not overly dominant, light acid and carbonation make for a refreshing experience. BJCP 7/3/15/4/7

Pour from bottle courtesy of zizzybalubba @ ECU vs Tulsa football game. Thanks BroMontana!! Red hue with a mostly lasting reddish fizzy head. Strong aroma of raspberry throughout the entire experience. Strong tart raspberry initial taste with a moderate lasting tart rasberry taste on the finish. I have had several bottles of this in the past and it never disappoints.

A: Solid Off Reddish Hue, Passes Mild Light, Mild Pinkish Head, Some Lacing S: Lots of Raspberries, Mild Cranberry T: Mildly Sweet Raspberries, Mild Tart Cherry M: Average Carbonation, Light to Medium Bodied, Semi Sweet, Mildly Tart Overall, pretty solid for the style, I had the 2009 version recently and it was like drinking raspberry juice where the 2010 was mildly tart.

Very good beer. Great balance. Very refreshing. Could be a bit more tart, but that is just being picky.

Big Big up’s to Bytemesis for the bottle, thanks man! Nice dark red pour, minimal lacing, white/red head. Wonderful aroma of raspberries, mild oak. Sweet jesus this is good, mild tartness up front, followed by a nice touch of raspberry sweetness, freakishly drinkable, very little acidity, extremely well balanced ..God damn I wish I was sitting somewhere warm drinking this...
