COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
The voluminous raspberry bouquet will greet you long before your lips touch your glass. Serve this Wisconsin framboise very cold in a champagne flute. Then hold your glass to a light and enjoy the jewel-like sparkle of a very special ale. Oregon proudly shares their harvest of mouth-watering berries, which we ferment spontaneously in large oak vats. Then we employ Wisconsin farmed wheat and year old Hallertau hops to round out this extravaganza of flavor.

This was a welcome palate cleanser after starting with the Estrella Dame. The aroma is fruity with bubbly freshness that aerates around the glass. One could have easily mistaken my Tart for a glass of champagne. Then came the taste. Amazing! I could easily have drank 4 or 5 more of these. You could taste the raspberries, but the taste was not overpowering. The next time I am in Wisconsin I am bringing some of this back home.

Poured from 22oz bottle at home. Super cloudy pink and red color with white foamy head. Mixed feelings on it at first but really grew to like it at the end. Very raspberry and tarty as expected - but it isn't an annoying fruit taste. The beer behind the raspberry is fantastic.

750ml bottle poured into champagne flutes. Dark red opaque body with a finger of red-brown head. Aroma is fresh raspberries, raspberry coulis, tart raspberry. Taste is briefly tart then a rush of sweetness comes in. Some light grainy maltiness on the swallow. Light body, thicker silky texture that is nicely offset by the spritzy carbonation, sweet finish.

This one has a great rasberry flavor to it yet still remains solid. The only other fruit beer that rivals this is there cherry.

"(disclaimer-this is a rating for a 2+ year old bottle-will rerate when i get my hands on a fresher one). poured a redish-purple with pink head. aroma is huge doses of fresh raspberries...after 2 years, really? taste is also raspberry and not much else, but the tartness seems to have subsided a bit, and itís almost overly sweet, with the tart only making itís presence known at the back of the mouth right before the swallow. A little oxidation perhaps brings the carbonation too high, which takes away from the feel and the overall impression of the beer, but itís still quite good, and the sweet tart aspect lingers after youíre done. Canít wait to try a new one. re-rate 4/30/09 got a fresh one-thanks pfoxyjohn. aroma and flavor is cleaner and incredibly fresh. no oxidation makes for better mouthfeel. great beer...from 4 (2 yr old) to 4.5 for a fresh one."

750 ml at the Hoppy Pub, Thessaloniki, courtesy of AntonFred. Hazy red color with pink head. Aroma is raspberries, cherry and wood. Taste is very sweet, and the same as the aroma with raspberries and some wood. Medium body, oily, soft carbonation.

Bottle to glass. Pours a murky amber brownish color with a pinkish hue and a thin off white pinkish head. Aroma is sweet, apple cider, hint of berries. Flavor is delicious, mildly tart, huge pallet raspberry sweetness. Lingering tart and sweet, with a hint of Apple cider. Very tasty.

Bottle. Aroma is full of fruit. Taste is initially fruity then you can taste the tart! Pastry, light butter sweetness, then at the end itís a little tart (ho ho). Lightly spritzy. Really easy drinking. Great stuff.

Another delightful fruit beer from New Glarus. Copper brown color. Heavy sweet raspberry aroma. Raspberry jam, some wheat, and tart profile. Beer is perfectly sweet, not cloying but very authentic fruit. Lovely effervescent mouthfeel. Fruit beer masters!

Pours a cloudy copper/brown with a small head and good lacing. Aroma of raspberry and wheat Taste is raspberry preserves, sweet with some tartness and also some wheat. Finishes with some sweetness and a little tartness. Mouthfeel is semi creamy with a medium body and crisp carbonation. Excellent beer that would be great with dessert.

2014 bottle. Muddy brown/red color. Aroma is musty and lots of raspberry. Taste is raspberry jam up front with a nice sweetness. Gives way to a nice, round tartness. Full, thick mouthfeel. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
