COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
The voluminous raspberry bouquet will greet you long before your lips touch your glass. Serve this Wisconsin framboise very cold in a champagne flute. Then hold your glass to a light and enjoy the jewel-like sparkle of a very special ale. Oregon proudly shares their harvest of mouth-watering berries, which we ferment spontaneously in large oak vats. Then we employ Wisconsin farmed wheat and year old Hallertau hops to round out this extravaganza of flavor.

UPDATED: NOV 17, 2012 Jam nose and jam taste. Nice and real raspberry presence, I never thought of it being artificial. A touch too sweet though, I wouldn’t want to chug a whole 750ml by myself but split 8-way it was pretty good. It even has a jam texture/mouthfeel but more liquid, mind you. Great fruit beer, the best I had to date for sure!

Thanks Adam for sending this one to me! He’s sending more of these so figured I’d crack this one open and give it a try. IT’s currently 9 months old so I hope it’s still great!

A - Very much filtered with no sediment at all, gorgeous blood red appearance with a 2 finger head.

S - The nose has nothing like fake raspberry syrup. It is pretty much all earthy sort of muddy / grassy fruit nose.

T - Wow. Simple yet so complex. The malt or beer itself sort of takes a back seat to this gigantic raspberry taste. It’s a handful of raspberries in a glass with carbonation. That’s the best way to put it.

M - Nice big mouthfeel on the swish. tart and dry finish. very grape-skin like as I rub my tongue over my teeth

O - Very drinkable. Simply ann incredible fruit beer! Possibly the best I’ve ever had.

Fruity sweet aroma with a hint of spice. Clear auburn with white head that leaves a fair amount if lacing. Very smooth. Very fruity with a hint of yeast. Slightly tart finish.

Bottle picked up in Madison Wisconsin. Pours an extremely cloudy dark red almost mahogany. Nose is so sweet and fruity. Tastes like raspberry jam. Super sweet, tart as hell, a touch bitter. There is an element of soap too. Just sugar bomb. Really really good.

Dark red with a rosy head. Strong, sweet raspberry aroma. Nice raspberry flavour, very authentic and natural. Not overly sweet. A good one.

Wow New Glarus. Just keep knocking it out of the park. Shared with the wife as she clamours for NGs fruit beers. Big, big raspberry sherbert and tart but soft vinous nose. Huge sweet raspbery flavors with a littly tart finish. It is quite sweet, but after splitting the bottle, I was still wanting more. Just incredible that at 4%, there is that much flavor.

Pours a clear raspberry color with a frothy rose head and swirls of lace. I purchased two bottles in June 2012, drank one immediately, and opened the other today (10 months later). The fresh bottle was like raspberry syrup, while the aged one is like raspberry wine, sweet-sour raspberry flavor with a little warming in the finish. Delicate, light in the stomach, yet a full flavor that lingers in the finish. High recommendation.

Hazy dark red burgundy with a small creamy rose head. Aroma is red fruit, rapsberry and some sea-like. Flavor is deep sour raspberry, very intense with some lemony notes, and a fruity, acid aftertaste, very nice. Medium palate, start filling but ends dry, complex, refreshing and very drinkable. Great.

Raspberry forward and very sweet. Has a nice tartness to round out the palate. Very drinkable.

Surprisingly tart with biting raspberry sourness. Strong fruit base, supported by a mouthful of fresh fruit. Yeah, far more sour than my last few bottles, and I love it.

The first thing I noticed about this beer is its aroma of muddled berries and chocolate. The beer pours a dark ruby read, and comes to a creamy cocoa head that dissolves rather quickly. The taste is absolutely amazing: it's like drinking dessert. It's unlike a beer, it's a rich creamy chocolate and raspberry taste with slight hints of coffee and cocoa. The beer washes down and leaves a light feeling on the palate. This is an astonishing drink in-general. Enjoy every sip, friends. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
