The voluminous raspberry bouquet will greet you long before your lips touch your glass. Serve this Wisconsin framboise very cold in a champagne flute. Then hold your glass to a light and enjoy the jewel-like sparkle of a very special ale. Oregon proudly shares their harvest of mouth-watering berries, which we ferment spontaneously in large oak vats. Then we employ Wisconsin farmed wheat and year old Hallertau hops to round out this extravaganza of flavor.

A clear deep red beer sith a small off-white head. The aroma is sweet of a summers day in a raspberries scrup. The flavor is dominated by raspberries with sweetness and a slight sourness combined with a dryness that ends in a woodyness. All in all a great beer - I want more.

(Bottle 75 cl) Pours copletely opaque dark red - actually it looks like freshly squeezed berry juice - with a tiny, reddish head. Tart and very fresh raspberry aroma. Rather light body with a high acidity and very fresh berry accents. No bitterness and no feel of alcohol either. As said - you could mistake this for being freshly squeezed raspberry juice. 170306

Bottled (thanks Ruth!). Dark murky red colour with mediumsized pink head. Aroma is nice raspberries with some slight sourness. Flavour is sour raspberries along with some vanilla. Very mouthdrying. Some slight nutty hints in the finish. Really nicely done sour fruitbeer.

UPDATED: DEC 27, 2004 Bottled. Dark red. Ripe raspberry aroma. Balsamic, but overly sweet. Pleasant rounded mouthfeel and peppery sugary finish. Beatiful flavourwise, but way too sweet.

9th September 2008. Dark pink beer with a pink head. Strong raspberry nose. Raspberry dominates throughout and treads a fine line between sweet and sour with sour just winning towards the finish. Refreshing and very very tasty.

Red-amber color; small creamy head. Tart and creamy aroma, some fruits. Sweet fruity (cherry and strawberry) flavor, low sourness level. Balanced final. Very pleasant.

2006-03-15, 7-4-8-4-15=38
Muddy dark scarlet color; thick pink head. Strong fruity pungent aroma. Good body strength, fruity, sweet, with an incredibly aggressive late sourness, astringent. Strange, good.
