ketchepillar (279), Des Moines, Iowa, USA May 17, 2008 I don’t really have anything to say about the beer that the title doesn’t already say. It’s definitely quite sweet, but the tartness, crispness, and dryness keep it delicious.
vikingguy (53), Chaska, Minnesota, USA Oct 9, 2008 Fantastic taste that reminds me of a raspberry infusion dessert wine that I’ve had before. Aroma is intense berry, color is cloudy red. I think this is a small step below the Belgian Red, but not by much. robinvboyer (1054), Sturgeon Falls, Ontario, Canada Sep 28, 2008 murky dark cloudy deep red pour, very interesting look. A big fluffy pink head. Aroma is a slap in the face of smashed raspberries, and sugar. Flavour is like a very sweet raspberry compote, but the finish has a nice tangy tartness, this is a superb beer! maniac (2022), Richmond, Virginia, USA Sep 27, 2008 Bottle at RBSG2008 Grand Tasting on 08/02/2008. Hazy red body with a reddish pink head. Huge raspberry aroma. Very sweet raspberry flavor.
