amish_caravan (212), Winona, Minnesota, USA Jun 30, 2008 very fruity pleasant scent of raspberries. Pour is very dark red with quickly disappearing head that dissolves into a pink ring around the outside of the glass. taste is obviously raspberries, but it is done just right. this is the best fruit beer I have ever had. Very nice. In my opinion, this is better than the Belgian Red. I would certainly purchase this again.
vikingguy (53), Chaska, Minnesota, USA Oct 9, 2008 Fantastic taste that reminds me of a raspberry infusion dessert wine that I’ve had before. Aroma is intense berry, color is cloudy red. I think this is a small step below the Belgian Red, but not by much. robinvboyer (1052), Sturgeon Falls, Ontario, Canada Sep 28, 2008 murky dark cloudy deep red pour, very interesting look. A big fluffy pink head. Aroma is a slap in the face of smashed raspberries, and sugar. Flavour is like a very sweet raspberry compote, but the finish has a nice tangy tartness, this is a superb beer! maniac (2022), Richmond, Virginia, USA Sep 27, 2008 Bottle at RBSG2008 Grand Tasting on 08/02/2008. Hazy red body with a reddish pink head. Huge raspberry aroma. Very sweet raspberry flavor.
