COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
The voluminous raspberry bouquet will greet you long before your lips touch your glass. Serve this Wisconsin framboise very cold in a champagne flute. Then hold your glass to a light and enjoy the jewel-like sparkle of a very special ale. Oregon proudly shares their harvest of mouth-watering berries, which we ferment spontaneously in large oak vats. Then we employ Wisconsin farmed wheat and year old Hallertau hops to round out this extravaganza of flavor.

Amazing flavor. Perfect balance of tartness and sweetness. Not sour or pungent at all. Great dark red color with a pinkish head. Took a long time to track this one down but well worth the wait.

Brownish magenta in color... Aroma of fresh raspberry jam, syrup... Flavor is intensely sweet raspberry jam up front, funk and blue cheese notes come through on the palate, fairly tart finish... Oak, vanilla... Really nice, but definitely not for everyone ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bit of a reddish brown color. Big beautiful raspberry aroma, some slightly funky smell here too that I didn’t really get from the other fruit beers by then. Taste is a fantastic raspberry jam, some sour, but actually less tart than I had expected. I could drink this every day.

Bottle. Pours amber with an off white head. Rich sweet raspberry, sweet malts, faint acidity, and a long fruity rich finish. Damn good.

Pours a fairly murky dark amber color with tan head. Huge fruity nose, tons of raspberry aroma, juicy, framboise like sweetness, tart aroma. Flavor is intense raspberry juice, not artificial, refreshing tartness in the back and more raspberry lingers in the finish. A lot of raspberry packed into this.

Bomber bottle, fresh in the WI. Pours ruby, red, mahogany. Beautiful raspberry aroma. Taste is sweet raspberry tart with a bit of a sour beer base back. It’s a great beer for a gorgeous summer afternoon.

Received in a trade from BVery -- This is easily the best fruit beer I have ever had the pleasure of enjoying. This is just a wow in a bottle. Very fruity and juicy.

750 ml bottle shared by Jon. Thanks man! Pours a translucent color of, well, raspberries. Poofy bubbles make up the thin head of this beautiful glass of beer. Aroma is, again, raspberries, but really fresh ones. Amazing - this is beer? Flavor is deliciously sweet raspberries, not much else to report. I am reminded of the complexity of pie. All around amazing flavors, crisp finish. Delicious. From notes 1/23/10 (Geist Dark Lord tasting)

aroma: raspberry, vanilla, raspberry, raspberry appearance: golden red body; creamy white head; lively carb bubble action for that a$$ taste: sweet and tart raspberry, sweet vanilla ice cream, ends with a slightly sour berry note. palate: creamy with refreshing soda like carb fizziness, no shizzy. finishes long and juicy, slightly bitter/sour. greatest fruit beer i’ve had yet. beats out rubaeus by a slim but definitive margin.
