In short: A below average highly roasted stout without much else to offer than pure roastiness
How: Bottle 12oz, from KingpinIPA. Thanks a lot Mike! Age unknown but consumed shortly after receiving it.
The look: Black body topped by a medium beige head with medium retention
In long: Noseis very roasted with some old coffee filter and black liquorice candy notes. Taste is ultra-roasted but the body is extra-light with a feeling of emptiness leaving a feeling of feeling my mouth with wood coal and ashes. Flavour of old black coffee and to a much lesser level dark grapes and molasses. Characterless hops. The beer is quite drinkable but so are all highly roasted beers. Roastiness to beers is like money to men, the more you have the less people notice your defaults.

Oct 4, 2008 12 oz. bottle from Tmoney99. Pours a clear dark brown with ruby highlights and a medium sized tan head. The aroma is moderately sweet milk chocolate, mild roasted malts, slightly nutty, all with a light earthiness. The flavor opens with a nice combination of semi sweet chocolate and roasted malts. A black coffee bitterness assumes control in the finish. Maybe a tad thin in the mouthfeel department, but a solid beer nonetheless.

Sep 4, 2008 Pours a nut brown with a thin tan head some spotted laceing along the sides of the glass. The nose is not very strong and it has some hints of roasted malt mixed with earthy hops. The flavor is slightly sweet with a roasted and bitter after taste. Overall it is nice with a good amount of carbonation and a nice bitter sweet flavor but the body is lacking a little bit.

Aug 25, 2008 luxurious body gives way to silky coating mouthfeel. good start. aroma is plenty strong of chocolate. flavor is the same and sticks around. shocking this is half decent despite the low ABV. this aint too bad at all, though it greets me more as just a nice porter then dark malts based on oats. usually i temper my poor new glarus ratings with the fact that they use locally made ingredients. somehow despite the nice thought it doesnt help my brew seem any more appealing. i split a sampler 12 pack with my brother. we couldnt split the four trios of beers equally so i got only one of these but got stuck with 2 spotted cows. should have known better. this is what i needed right now.

Aug 16, 2008 Bottle courtesy TheCheeseMan. Dark brown color with a dense dark khaki head. Light chocolate and nutty aroma, mild roast background. A bit thin on the palate, but the taste is nice, a bit more of the roast comes out to meet the chocolate sweetness. Nice and sessionable.
