COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Happy Accident Fruit Ale Severe Drought, we shared the farmerís horror as Wisconsinís cherry crop failed! Dan bought what cherries he could. The apple crop fared better. Then joy! A grand Wisconsin cranberry harvest. What will Dan brew with Apples, Cranberries and Cherries? Oh my! You hold the happy accident of Wisconsinís favorite fruit aged in oak with an almost magical wild fermentation. Serendipity is a wondrous celebration that sparkles your senses and dances across your palate. A kaleidoscope of flavors discovered by accident in a sour ale! Cheers to the unexpected. Vielen Dank!

750 ml bottle served in a New Glarus flute. A: Pours a reddish color with an off-white head forming on the pour. It recedes quickly to a thin ring and thin film. Some splotchy lace is left down the glass. S: Unwashed apple skins with some cherry and cranberry flesh. Fresh oak with light cracker malt backbone. T: Granny smith apple, tart cranberry and some light cherry. Sweet malts with a little oak profile as well. M: Light bodied with a nice medium high carbonation level. A little spritzy with a sweet and fruity finish. O: A plethora of mixed berry with a slight cider hint to it with the apples. Another great fruit beer from New Glarus. Serving type: bottle 08-10-2013

I donít know how these guys do it....so consistently knock it out of the park with their fruit ales. Cherry is still a stand out, but the apple and cranberry marry together with it so well that it is a delicious fruit cocktail explosion. Iím hunting for anything I didnít like about but nothing comes to mind. Perfect balance.

25.4 oz bottle; purchased at least several months ago (maybe as far back as February 2013); consumed on 9-15-13. Sweet, tart, musty, sour, very strong aroma features candy sugar, apple, salt, lemon, and berry scents. Pours an effervescent, clear copper with a reddish hue and pinkish taupe head. Sweet taste reminiscent of a berry tart baked good. Tonic water, lemon, dirt, and clay flavors. Harsh but welcome heat produced in back of throat. Medium body. Lively, frothy, and smooth in the palate. Very enjoyable beer but the novelty wears off a bit upon multiple sips.

750ml bottle from beernbourbon, thanks a bunch. Clear rusty amber with a foamy beige head. Aroma is all fruit; apples, cherries and cranberries. Flavor is lightly tart and acidic apple and cranberry with some sweet pie cherry and light malt backbone. Light body with lively carbonation. Another fantastic New Glarus fruit beer, I donít know how they get so much flavor and aroma without it being overly sweet.
