COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Happy Accident Fruit Ale Severe Drought, we shared the farmerís horror as Wisconsinís cherry crop failed! Dan bought what cherries he could. The apple crop fared better. Then joy! A grand Wisconsin cranberry harvest. What will Dan brew with Apples, Cranberries and Cherries? Oh my! You hold the happy accident of Wisconsinís favorite fruit aged in oak with an almost magical wild fermentation. Serendipity is a wondrous celebration that sparkles your senses and dances across your palate. A kaleidoscope of flavors discovered by accident in a sour ale! Cheers to the unexpected. Vielen Dank!

Pours a reddish color with pink head. Aromas that remind me of smelling a fruit tray. This beer has some amazing flavors from the fruit combinations added. This is one the best beers Iíve had.

The beer appears ruby to amber with a frothy, off white head. The aroma brings a potent dose of apples, pears, tart cranberries, sweet fruit juices. A typical New Glarus fruit beer. Bold and assertive. Teeming with flavor. Sweet cherries and apples with minimal alcohol. Though a bit sweet for my tastes, there's no denying that this is a terrific beer. Fantastic in small quantities. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Excellent fruit beer. Complex aroma of mixed fruits and a touch of the oak. Flavor is aggressively sweet and sharp. But it never becomes cloying and is held in just enough by the wood. Still, this is a fruity juicy beer. Yet somehow it all works. Abv is undetectable, the right enough of carbonation to keep it from being juice, and a complex layering of fruits. This is what a fruit beer should be. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Very well done! Syrupy sweet, but somehow manages not to be a fruit bomb. I pick up primarily cherries and cranberries; can't say I discern apple. Slightly woody, which I think is what ensures this isn't a sugar bomb. A hint of sourness. Overall, a pretty complex dessert beer -- a difficult task for a syrupy sweet beer. Another great fruit beer New Glarus. Pours lightly hazed reddish amber with lively off-white head. Aromas of cherries, cranberries, apples, sweetness, and light tartness. Flavors of sweet malts, sweet fruits including cranberries and apples with some tartness in the finish. Body was lighter than Belgain Red which is a good thing.

Bottle pour ruby amber color. Nose immediate sweet tart fruit. Lots of apple, some cherry, Taste tart up front, gets those salivary glands going. Followed by sweet apple, some cherry. Not as coyingly sweet as belgian red. Cranberries seem to come through in the end. Many layers of flavor.

750 ml bottle served in a New Glarus flute. A: Pours a reddish color with an off-white head forming on the pour. It recedes quickly to a thin ring and thin film. Some splotchy lace is left down the glass. S: Unwashed apple skins with some cherry and cranberry flesh. Fresh oak with light cracker malt backbone. T: Granny smith apple, tart cranberry and some light cherry. Sweet malts with a little oak profile as well. M: Light bodied with a nice medium high carbonation level. A little spritzy with a sweet and fruity finish. O: A plethora of mixed berry with a slight cider hint to it with the apples. Another great fruit beer from New Glarus.
