COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Happy Accident Fruit Ale Severe Drought, we shared the farmerís horror as Wisconsinís cherry crop failed! Dan bought what cherries he could. The apple crop fared better. Then joy! A grand Wisconsin cranberry harvest. What will Dan brew with Apples, Cranberries and Cherries? Oh my! You hold the happy accident of Wisconsinís favorite fruit aged in oak with an almost magical wild fermentation. Serendipity is a wondrous celebration that sparkles your senses and dances across your palate. A kaleidoscope of flavors discovered by accident in a sour ale! Cheers to the unexpected. Vielen Dank!

Bottle shared at SL via Tara... Light purple tint, small head. Great nose on this beer. Smells like raspberry/cherry pie. Taste reminds me of the raspberry tart....just a little lighter body wise. Tons of cherries, light apple notes. Sweet but not sugary. Body has an oily base with a good amount of carbonation. Overall.... really enjoyed this beer. Wish I had more. I could drink this all the time

Picked up a 750 ml bottle at Discount Liquors in Waukesha, WI. Pours a ruby red caramel colored brew with a thin beige head that quickly dissipates to a film top and minimal lacing. Aroma of both tart and sweet berries, some light caramel malt, almond marzipan, and some rosť wine. Taste is medium bodied, both sweet and tart berries, some light apple and some tart spice. Finish is a touch on the sweet side, with aftertaste of berries, apples and tart cranberries. A touch fruitier than the regular Belgian Red but still would drink this anytime.

Bottle. Pours more ruby than brown with minimal head. Smell is cherries, apples with a light sweetness. Taste is mixed fruit juice of apple raspberries, and cherries. Slight marzipan, medium tart, refreshingly dry. Fantastic mistake indeed. I could drink this all day and at 5% it could be quite possible.

Yeah it is stupid good, yeah it tastes like fruit juice, and yeah you should get this while you can. It is all of the good about Belgian Red with a mixed complexity of fruits, slight oakiness, and just tart enough to pucker before a wash of fruit sugar to finish.

750ml bottle from Atom, thanks Adam! Pours a clear, rich red-copper colored body with a finger-width, dense and frothy, light tan head that dissipates slowly and leaves a nice lacing. Aroma is sweet cranberries and cherries with a light apple. Just a slight tartness and wood behind the rich, sweet fruits. Flavor is similar. Sweet cranberries and cherries with a nice, light apple essence. Just a slight wood element toward the end with a really nice, light tartness that helps this finish dry and clean with plenty of rich, sweet fruits lingering in a lengthy aftertaste. Light, very smooth and soft body with a crisp, soft, medium-light carbonation. Overall, this is extremely well done and delicious. Such a nice, rich, sweet fruit mixture that is balanced with a light tartness and wood note. So simple, but so effective. Just awesome.

Bottle after the carnage of THE Stout Tasting. Cheers to deeblo for sharing! The pourís deep red with a tiny head. The nose is apple pie, cranberry juice, fruit punch, general sweet fruits. The taste is much the same. Nice, jammy sweet fruit flavors. Strawberry, apple, cranberry. Soft body. Really light, refreshing stuff. Vibrant. This is the best New Glarus beer Iíve had.

[Bottle] Iíve had this a couple of times now, and Iíve failed to take really thorough notes either time. These terse notes will therefore be in need of a re-rate from one of my remaining bottles. Pours red with a nice off-white head. Aroma is big on cranberry. Cranberry and cherry are integrated beautifully in the taste. Medium-thin mouthfeel. Wow. I am a sucker for cranberry beers in general, and I love New Glarus, so unsurprisingly this was a big winner for me. Thanks for sharing the initial bottle I tried, Guerde!
