COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This authentic amber Irish ale is slow brewed with a blend of three malted barleys and finished with four varieties of hops. Then we dry-hopped in the lager tank to add a spicy note to warm your winter evenings. Expect this beer to be a beautiful copper-red, with a fruity ale body and a spiced hop finish.

Beautiful color and head, lacks aroma except for some run of the mill maltiness. The flavor is "hell yeah", just a kick ass amber ale that is superbly balanced as far as hops and malts and very drinkable. There doesn’t have to be a lot going on with an amber and this fits the bill. Overall this comes in right behind Bell’s Amber though it may be a tie for the best Amber to pass my lips. Great beer and one you can drink ALL DAY LONG.

Bottle. Darker pour with off white head. Smells of caramel and slightly sweet. Well balanced flavor ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

"courtesy of pfoxyjohn. for a style that usually lack punch, this was a tasty sessionable alternative. rich malts combined with just enough floral hops makes this one stand out from the crowd (of reds and ambers at least). Blew away the Bells Amber I had the other day..."

Deep amber with a thick, light tan head. Scent is sweet caramel, nuts, spice. Creamy caramel, apple malts... Thick and sweet, Mild, holiday-style spicing. Very good.

12 oz bottle pours copper with a little head. Aroma is malty and fruity. Taste is a bit different for the style. A little spicy. Good bitterness. Thin body and a moderately bitter finish. Not bad.

Bottle. Lactic caramel malt aroma. Clear amber with with large off-white head. Mildly sweet apple and very light caramel malt flavor. Lightly bitter hay finish. Okay but malt flavor pretty subdued.

bottle. Amber with one finger head. Medium malt body. This strikes me as very earthy with a fair amount of crystal malt. I think it’s rather well done, but the flavors are not ones that I enjoy much.

Dark amber pour with very thin layer of offwhite head and light lacing. Slightly roasted aroma, some carmel, grain, metallics and cream. Overall on the sweet side and very euro. Average carbonation, lighter mouthfeel and sour somewhat filmy finish. Nice carmel and bready malt flavor, very earthy, slightly floral, roasty chocolate that’s very evenly blended with euro metallic hops, a little melon too. Great amber with german flare.

This is an amber in the old American craftbrew style. To me, this means it is a malty beer and not just a slightly darker APA. All of these beer styles are great, it is just my wont to classify things. Ignore me if you wish. This one in particular has a nice copper color to it and a small head that nonetheless leaves a good bit of lace behind. The nose has a lightly floral note which seems to come from hops but the flavor is all about the malt. There is a solid caramel and toffee backbone and just a small amount of sweetness. The carbonation is crisp across the tongue and there is just a touch of earthy hop bitterness in the finish which serves to accent the malt. This is a nicely put together beer and a good example of the style.
