4.6 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 10/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 19/20 SirQuackalot (10) - USA - DEC 12, 2001An incredible deep red in color and with a nice amount of carbonation, this beer tastes as good as it looks. It has a definite spicyness to it in taste as well as aroma, the only thing that bugged me was the presence of a sediment that I wasn’t expecting. Overall, this beer’s great, if you’re crazy enough to live in or visit WI during the winter definitely check this one out.
3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 11/20 sawbuck (146) - Round Lake, Illinois, USA - JUN 6, 2013
Bready, dark caramel aromas. Nice redish brown color, clear with tan frothy head. Rich malty flavors up front that are somewhat sweer but fades quickly. Balanced with a slight bitterness, but the hops don’t cut through. Finishes slightly bitter, but not harshly.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 naivepegasus (307) - USA - APR 20, 2013
Pours a dark amber with about a finger of rapidly dissipating head. Sweet malts primarily in the nose. Hint of dark fruit with a bit of burnt toast. Nothing particularly noteworthy but not bad at all.
4 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 Ataraxia (170) - Massachusetts, USA - APR 8, 2013
Amber brown, thin off-white lacing. Brown sugar, toffee apple, maple leaves, caramel malt, hints of cinnamon and spice. Very smooth, a little sweet, and light-bodied. Finish is a mildly dry and astringent.
3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20 DeliveryDriver (128) - Illinois, USA - APR 6, 2013
Poured a clear amber color with a big, light tan head. Had aromas of brown sugar and a bit of syrup. Malty and nutty going down, and had a minimal hop bitterness on the finish. It is a bit sticky and syrupy. Good amber ale, but I’ve had better.
4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 16/20 AZBennett (112) - Chandler, Arizona, USA - MAR 20, 2013
Beautiful color and head, lacks aroma except for some run of the mill maltiness. The flavor is "hell yeah", just a kick ass amber ale that is superbly balanced as far as hops and malts and very drinkable. There doesn’t have to be a lot going on with an amber and this fits the bill. Overall this comes in right behind Bell’s Amber though it may be a tie for the best Amber to pass my lips. Great beer and one you can drink ALL DAY LONG.
3.1 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 TH28 (26) - - MAR 16, 2013
Deep amber, almost brown in appearance. Clear with a rich, slightly off white foam cap. Aroma is a deep roasted malt, similar to other Irish/red ales. The lagering of the beer seems to mask any of the hop aroma. Taste is all malt, with roasted flavor really standing out and lingering on the tongue. Mouthfeel is light with some carbonation. Finish is very crisp and clean with minimal hop bitterness. Feels very much like a solid lager. Well balanced but doesn’t stand out from the crowd.
3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20 tastybeer (1333) - Bloomington, Indiana, USA - MAR 14, 2013
Bottle. Murky amber pour, tan head. Little retention/some lace. Aroma is toasty, toffee, light citrus/pine. Taste is nutty, toffee, light chocolate, citrus, grass. Palate is soft, creamy, light bitter finish.

From the bottle, reddish/amber pour with a white head. Aroma is of dry toasty malts with a faint fruity hoppiness. Taste is fruity and malty with good flavor notes.
