Commercial Description:
Brewed with flaked barley and the finest Wisconsin malts. We even give a nod to our farmers with a little hint of corn. Naturally cloudy we allow the yeast to remain in the bottle to enhance fullness of flavors, which can not be duplicated otherwise. Expect this Ale to be fun, fruity and satisfying.

Thanks kiefdog for the share. Pours clear, slightly hazy gold with a white head. Nose is light malt, apples, pearsm and some sugary sweetness. Flavor is similar with malt, light fruit, mildness, and nice body. If I had never had a beer this would be an excellent intro/ conversion beer. I really enjoyed it, especially for its style.

Pours yellow/white with some head. Some fruitiness, corn, barley. Refreshing but not very interesting.

Recieved a bottle from Wisconsin via a friend. Aroma- High grain aroma, more than a "hint" of corn. Moderate berry esters. Corn is appropriate for style. Appearance- Good clarity. Light Orange color with a pale white head which has medium retention. Taste- The corn flavor is very high, but I think that may be due to DMS, but I can’t discern the difference. There is at least Medium DMS. There is no hop flavor and no discernable malt flavor. I get medium sweeteness, medium esters and of course, the corn. While it’s not my cup o’ tea, I think it’s spot-on for style. It is a cream ale. Palate- Light in body, but sweetness gives it substance, medium carbonation. Overall- It’s only fair to rate this beer against the style, to which it succeeds. I look at a cream ale as an ale version of an American lager. It has many flavor characteristics of Busch, Budweiser, Pabst, etc... The only differences are the estery fruitiness and a higher quality that you get from craft beer. Definately not a sipping beer, but I could enjoy these mowing the lawn or at a barbecue. A message to those who gave it a low rating, It is listed as the 5th classic example for cream ale in the BJCP guidelines, that should account for something.

On draft at the brat stop. Too cold to really get much of an aroma... sigh. Very sessionably sweet, lightly grassy, bit of acetaldehyde, over all quite clean and super crisp. Light bodied with big crisp bubbles, very easy drinking. It’s a staple.

12oz bottle served in a shaker. Lightly hazy golden pour with a thin head of lasting off-white foam. Almost no lace. The aroma included some hay, grass, sweet malt, and also a touch of cooked corn. The flavor was sweet malt and corn. Lightly sweet with minimal bitterness. Medium-bodied and moderately carbonated. Not much to this one. No noticeable flaws...just not very interesting.

Cloudy brew with subtle aroma and flavor, but lackluster. Would certainly be session worthy...if you’re a masochist. Had one just to experience it, but will not tip another.

Bottle. Pours a hazy, dark golden color with a small, fleeting, off-white head of creamy foam. A soapy wash on the glass mostly rejoins the body. The nose is indeed creamy, as advertised, with notes of oats, fresh corn, honey, and sweet bread dough all showing in the malt base. Hopping is soft and floral, falling short of completely balancing the malty sweetness. Flavors mirror the nose, mainly sweet and corny, loaded with creamy grain and bread elements. Notes of lightly spicy flowers emerge, along with a hint of Belgian tripel yeast. Balanced carbonation lends a creamy feel, though the finish comes across a little sweet and sticky. Overall, it’s a very solid example of the style, though it’s probably not something I’d drink often.

Pours golden and hazy. Light on aroma - slightly sweet. Flavor is light to match, smooth. Nothing particularly outstanding with this one, but an old standard.
