Good head retention and nice lacing. Nose is caramel malts and some light floral hops. Medium mouthfeel. Flavor is lightly sweet and fruity. Finish lightly bitter. A very easy drinking beer. dmac (1511), Toms River, New Jersey, USA
| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Jul 14, 2009 12 oz bottle that pours a slightly hazed orange/gold with a smaller fluffy white head. Sweet aroma of corn. molassess, plastic and glue. Medium bodied with very bubbly carbonation and a watery mouthfeel. Flavor of grass, cinnamon, bread and nutmeg. What the hell this smells almost like a wit and tastes like a spiced up holiday beer. Not my cup of tea. Harsebrau (168), Kansas City, Missouri, USA
| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 4/5 | 10/20 | Jul 14, 2009 Gift from Cohen. I had heard...on several occasions...that this was a good good beer. Twas built up a little too much. It is a very average beer. Never-the-less...I am very happy to have had it. Pours pale gold and cloudy. Aroma is faint and flat - a touch of soy. Flavor is in the same neighborhood. Straw, fruity and mildly malty. Drinks easy. jbuzz (664), South Milwaukee, Wisconsin, USA

| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Jul 11, 2009 Very drinkable, but less complex in character than the New Glarus Fat Squirrel. Some fruit -- perhaps a bit of apple cider -- and malt flavors, but pretty light. Aroma’s a little weak. piscator34 (1139), Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jul 10, 2009 Bottled sample. Pale yellow in colour with strong carbonation and a bit of haze. Aromas are of soft grainy malts, red apple, and a bit of canned corn. More light adjuncty grain notes in the mouth, along with a bit of sweet cherry pit, and mild lemony citrus and herbal spice. Light bodied and quick finishing. A bit of a throwback beer in terms of personality, and stylistically pretty spot on. bitbucket (2036), Kirkland, Washington, USA

Light body, light carbonation. You can’t expect to hit a home run every time. JCastner (109), New York, USA

Pours a pale straw color. Aroma of canned corn and metal. Taste is grainy but one dimensional. Finish is smooth. Not bad, if you’re ever in a pinch, but I wouldn’t recommend it.
