Bottled. What to say about this beer, Iíve encountered it many times and in many settings since moving to Madison two years ago, and each time it has fit right in. Friendly, unassuming, golden color. Hints of hay and fruit form its mild aroma. A light subdued taste of cream, corn, hint of grass and fruit. Sweet and simple. It is like an old friend, familar and comforting. Iím shocked at the low rating of this beer. No it doesnít push itself to be the center of attention, like other loud and bold beers. It is a simple, but well made brew.

12 ounce bottle. Cannot believe I have never ticked this. Goldish and hazy. This is a sweeter beer. Pleasant fruit and malts with corn and a little grain. Just a pleasant beer and one that is easy to drink.

My first spotted cow turned into about 4. This beer has a nice clean taste and excellent flavor. Always make sure to keep a six pack on hand

Iíve been alive 54 years and Iíve never had a Spotted Cow. How is this possible? Well, I fixed it tonight. This is an easy drinking, light bodied, not too sweet cream ale. Done.

In a 12 oz bottle. Flavor fills the mouth with something reminiscent of a watered-down amber ale. Couldnít really pick anything out. Lingers in the mouth a bit. Tastes like a gateway beer.

Bottle at Milwaukee airport.
Faint hay and yeasty aroma with some lagery sulfur and sweet wheat. Hazy gold under a lasting white collar. Flavour is clean and slightly tangy from the wheat, with a lagery middle and low bitterness. Clean and not quite refreshing or crisp. Inoffensive. Medium light body, medium carbonation, smooth.
