COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Brewed with flaked barley and the finest Wisconsin malts. We even give a nod to our farmers with a little hint of corn. Naturally cloudy we allow the yeast to remain in the bottle to enhance fullness of flavors, which can not be duplicated otherwise. Expect this Ale to be fun, fruity and satisfying.

Very good beer by New Glarus, Living in Wisconsin I have tried alot of their brews and to me this is one of the best. I prefer it over some of their others.

In my opinion this is hands down one of the best beers from the United States. Thankfully I live in Wisconsin so I can enjoy this anytime. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

12 oz bottle shared with ebone1988 from the depths of Dumpster Box No. 1. The pour is a light golden yellow with a decently dense cap of white head and a soapy lace as it falls down to a collar. The aroma is not very good. There is a light creaminess on top of a pilsner. There is a lot of grain and a light bitterness. I'm not looking forward to how this is going to go down. The flavor is very similar. It's a lightly creamy pilsner. I don't like it. Grainy and carries a sweetness to it. It's just different. The mouth feel is light and the carbonation doesn't match the viscosity. It's got a lingeringly sweet grainy finish, and it's not good. Ugh. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Cloudy yellow pour, small white head. Fruity and spiced aroma, banana and clove. Sweet fruity flavors, yeasty. Better than expected, would be a better summer brew, doesn’t work in the winter, at least for me. Thanks to Jody and Sam for a tasty Xmas present.

12 oz bottle. Pours a mostly clear golden color and topped by a decent sized off white of foam that shows good retention. The foam slowly settles to a thin film at the body below and leaves nice streaks of lacing around the glass. The aroma shows notes of white bread, sweet corn, sweet grains, pale malts, fruity yeast esters, and a touch of grassy bitterness on the back end. The flavor follows with pale malt and grains along with touches of white bread, corn, and a touch of banana from the yeasty esters. There is also a nice spiciness there that comes a cross as clove that helps accentuate sweetness from the grains and malts. Only a hint of grassy hops add bitterness on the back end to help keep the sweetness in check. Medium bodied with lively carbonation that leads to a slightly fruity finish. Straight forward and nicely balanced that is well executed. But certainly not the best offering from New Glarus.

12oz bottle. Aroma is fruity and just a touch sour. Poured clear, rich golden color with white head that lingered on the edges. Lively on the tongue. Pleasant flavor, maybe a tad tart. Med bodied, higher carbonation. Overall, a pretty decent beer. Would be a good summer time beer.

Not sure about why it’s scored so low? Must be due to age the beer when reviewed. It’s a solid beer.

12oz bottle courtesy of my neighbor John from his trip out west and elsewhere. Golden hue, murky clarity with fully diminishing head. Virtually no lacing. Light citrus, apple, grape and banana aromas. Citrus and banana taste up front with more of a light fruit (grape) finish. Dry on the palate.
