1.5 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 5/20
Maybe my bottle is spoiled, but this beer seems to me a bit "corny". Reading the label suggests they may have added some corn, I donít know why youíd do that. All the same, itís awkwardly sweet, almost has a spoiled flavor. The beer pours and retains zero head (in a well beer-rinsed glass) and has no distinct hop flavor (though I admit I just came off a pale ale, but to try to be fair, Iíve given it a lot of time). Iím flying in the face of a lot of people who really like this beer, but I donít get what they are trying to do. Let the "averages" play to the beerís favor I guess, Iíll pass on a second helping....

12 ounce bottle. Cannot believe I have never ticked this. Goldish and hazy. This is a sweeter beer. Pleasant fruit and malts with corn and a little grain. Just a pleasant beer and one that is easy to drink.

My first spotted cow turned into about 4. This beer has a nice clean taste and excellent flavor. Always make sure to keep a six pack on hand

Iíve been alive 54 years and Iíve never had a Spotted Cow. How is this possible? Well, I fixed it tonight. This is an easy drinking, light bodied, not too sweet cream ale. Done.

In a 12 oz bottle. Flavor fills the mouth with something reminiscent of a watered-down amber ale. Couldnít really pick anything out. Lingers in the mouth a bit. Tastes like a gateway beer.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bottle at Milwaukee airport.
Faint hay and yeasty aroma with some lagery sulfur and sweet wheat. Hazy gold under a lasting white collar. Flavour is clean and slightly tangy from the wheat, with a lagery middle and low bitterness. Clean and not quite refreshing or crisp. Inoffensive. Medium light body, medium carbonation, smooth.
