COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Brewed with flaked barley and the finest Wisconsin malts. We even give a nod to our farmers with a little hint of corn. Naturally cloudy we allow the yeast to remain in the bottle to enhance fullness of flavors, which can not be duplicated otherwise. Expect this Ale to be fun, fruity and satisfying.

A new favorite of mine. Finally got to try this one when I was in Green Bay for a few days. Semi cloudy in appearance with a foamy white head. Nice sweet aroma with notes of malt and maybe apple. Smooth, sweet, and refreshing! Extremely easy to drink with malty sweetness and fruity flavors abound. A superb beer in my opinion. Why isn’t it available in Illinois?

12 oz bottle: Pours just a tad cloudy with a white head that dissipates quickly but still has good CO2 release. Aroma is bready and slightly sour with grassy undertones. Taste is sweet at first with a touch of a sour finish. Pretty smooth drinker, could be very sessionable if better options were not available. Not bad, still wanting to be wowed by NG’s other offerings and keeping an open mind after the mixed 12 pack was pretty average all around.

Clear deep golden under a thin foamy head. Clean malty yet earthy nose of oats and light corn and earthy blonde cereal grains. Clean nutty yet blonde cereal malt flavors with some gentle wheat and oats, low bitterness and just overall blonde malty. Too light and blandish.

Easy drinking beer only available in Wisconsin. Golden and slightly cloudy appearance. Taste is light and not hoppy. Good overall and will continue to get occasionally.

Pours classic golden color with a medium white head that dissipates quickly. Aroma is simple, free of hops or anything other than classic "beer" aroma. Taste is sweet from start to finish. A good alternative to a macro brew on a hot, summer day.

Look: pours a clear yellow. White head that fades extremely quickly. Thick lacing hangs on the side of the glass. Smell: very malt heavy. Sweet smell. Almost a grain or corn odor. Not very strong smells coming from this beer. Taste: heavy on the malt. Hints of lemon peel. Slight sweet malt flavor. Feel: very light on the palate. Good carbonation. Overall: a craft version of a macro. Not very complex. Very refreshing. First drank: home June 28, 2014

IF YOU LIKE OVERPRICED BUD LIGHT YOU HAVE YOUR BEER HERE. IT’S WAY TOO WATERY AND DOES NOT HAVE A FULL FLAVOR. THE BOTTLE I HAD WAS KIND OF SKUNKY, AND I DO NOT SEE THE HUGE FUSS OVER THIS BEER. NEW GLARUS HAS BETTER BEERS THAN SPOTTED COW

A super up Miller or Bud Light! I do like the fruity hints, but that is about it. This was my first New Glarus beer and I have to say that I am not too overly impressed, glad I have Belgian Red and Serendipity to try!

Nice grassy cream ale. Golden hazy pour. Aroma of sweet malts, corn, and slight Belgian funk. Taste has a general fruitiness and grassiness. Nice and smooth.

Reviewed from notes. I once received a six pack of this and had this on tap when I was in Wisconsin last Summer. Here are my findings. Its a cream ale therefore it goes in a pint glass. The appearance was a transparent yellow color with carbonation seen rising at a moderate pace and filling a less than a half fingered white foamy head that quickly dies and left some light lacing here and there. The smell was sweet corn with some light herbal fruitiness to it. The taste was sweet through the corn and fruitiness to it. There was no aftertaste nor finish every time I’ve had it. On the palate, it sat fairly light and had a pretty good sessionability running about my mouth and tongue. Carbonation was pretty smooth and creamy, hence cream ale. Overall, this is great for the style and pretty good to me. This one is worthy of having again.
