My choice on tap. Many bars in the Wi. have this on tap, and it’s cheaper than any import, so what the hell? Very smooth, thicker-than-any-macro Cream Ale with notes of corn, straw, barley and crushed peanuts. Pretty drinkable!

ok. im really not sure what they were trying to do here. cream ale? not at all. light belgian inspired sounds better. In the end this taste like a Leffe beer. light ok to drink but nothing to do backflips over.

Pale yellow, nose is bitter with peach and pineapple. Taste is smooth and earthy. minor malt profile, silky smooth mouthfeel. Really nice but not pushing any palate limits.

Everybody from WI that hears I like craft beer is all, "you gotta try spotted cow! It’s the best!"
Here we go.
Pours light straw with slight diaphany, a central dome of white foam. Smells of white grapes, hay, some corn and powdered milk. Flavor of beer, milk and some rice, the aftertaste is slightly sweet and the beer would go well with vanilla bean ice cream in the summertime. Thin with moderate carb and a semi dry, crisp finish. An okay beer.

I’ve always thought this was a nice gateway beer. I know many people in Wisconsin who would say this us there first full flavor beer. Overall, I think it is pretty good. Pours like a normal lager. Golden in color. Big white head. The aroma is kind of yeasty and citrus fruits. Fairly bitter tasting. Really has flavor all around the tongue. Would recommend anyone visiting the south west area of Wisconsin to not only visit the New Glarus Brewery, but also the town itself, as it is a charming Swiss like town.

A good all-around beer, reminds me of fresh corn on the cob - pretty mild in the flavor department but with a nice balance that leans towards the sweet/smooth end of the spectrum and overall very drinkable. Excellent choice if you’re in the mood for something a little lighter.

Pours slightly hazy gold with foamy white head that diminishes to a skim layer. Lacing sticks around OK for a while. Light grain in the nose. Boring taste with a little fruit in the back. A craft beer for light beer drinkers.

Bottle. Pale gold with an off white head. Sweet malt and a little pils. Really light while maintaining a lot of flavor.

A: Golden Straw Hue, Passes All Light, Thick White Head, Some Lacing
S: Hay, Corn, Mild Malts
T: Hay, Apple, Mild Malts
M: Decent Carbonation, Light to Medium Bodied, Crisp, Clean
Overall, for a cream ale it is not bad representation of the style but a little bland on the taste. However, it is very crisp, clean with a mild sweetness that lingers around.
