COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Brewed with flaked barley and the finest Wisconsin malts. We even give a nod to our farmers with a little hint of corn. Naturally cloudy we allow the yeast to remain in the bottle to enhance fullness of flavors, which can not be duplicated otherwise. Expect this Ale to be fun, fruity and satisfying.

12 oz bottle. First New Glarus rating; thanks to my brother-in-law for picking this up in Wisconsin! Pours an effervescent light golden/yellow color with next-to-no head. Smells of malt, grass, maybe a few hops, and some sweet smells that must be the lactose sugars. The taste is very light: some hop-bite, malt, sugar, and fairly water-downed. From what I hear, New Glarus has some much better beers to try out, but this wasn’t the best.

Sweet grain and bread malts, molasses. Hazy, pale gold, small, creamy, white head. Light sweet. More sweet grain malts, molasses, caramel, creamy, sugary and sticky texture, medium bodied, lively carbonation. Nice for a Cream Ale, but too sweet for me overall. Keg at Belair, Milwaukee.

Bottle from John. Pours hazy gold with a thick foamy white head and a citrus aroma. There is a modest pale malt flavor with a dry slightly bitter finish.

Poured from a bottle. Thanks Jay for making a trip to Des Moines to bring us some goodies. Delicate toasted bread and subtle floral notes in the aroma and flavor. Dark straw gold body that has a little more sweetness and richness that you get from a cream ale that I’ve ever experienced.

Tap at the brewery. Also, numerous tap pours and bottles during our stay in the Wisconsin Dells. Poured hazy golden, thick white head. Aroma was fruity candy, sweet corn, yeast. Taste was sweet, if lived in Wisconsin I would buy this regularly.

12oz bottle to cervoise. Pours clear straw, short white head. Aroma of bread malt, lemon, honey. Taste of same with flowery hops and some cream. Pretty good lawnmower beer.

From a mixed pack. Thanks to my buddy Jeff. Thanks! Poured a hazy yellow color with a small white head. Aroma was light malts, light herbal hops with a little citrus in there. Flavor had some sweet citrus and spice notes. Hit the spot. Solid cream ale.

On tap at the Hiatt wedding. Pours a golden color with white head. Straw, malty, earthy flavors.

Bottle. Pours a hazy gold with a high white lacy mashed-potato head. Nose is stone fruit, fresh bread, and yeast; quite mild. On the tongue, it’s very...well...beer-like; grain, lemon, toast, metal. Finish is short and unremarkable. Disappointing.

Cloudy golden with a hint of brown. Head is small but persistent. Aroma is light white fruits. The corn and grain are dominant flavors. Maybe some pear. Finish is lightly sweet malt. Kinda boring.
