2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
12 oz bottle. First New Glarus rating; thanks to my brother-in-law for picking this up in Wisconsin! Pours an effervescent light golden/yellow color with next-to-no head. Smells of malt, grass, maybe a few hops, and some sweet smells that must be the lactose sugars. The taste is very light: some hop-bite, malt, sugar, and fairly water-downed. From what I hear, New Glarus has some much better beers to try out, but this wasn’t the best.

3.1 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Tap at Maxwell’s - pours pale gold, brief head, nice effervescence. Not much aroma. And truth be told, not much flavor either. Yes, it has Belgium profile, and it isn’t watery... but it lacks the typical New Glarus boldness. So, it is a good session beer, and good beer for those taking there first moves away from Bud, Coors, etc.

3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 16/20
bottle. slightly hazy with a glowing gold color and a small, frothy, white head. lightly fruity with pear, apple, green banana. flavors are similar with a hint of tart from maybe some acidulated malt(?). the flaked product lends a full creamy body and the carbonation level is not too sharp, so its easily drinkable. as far as cream ales go, this is tough to beat.

2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Bottle. Pours yellow with a goldish tint, slight haze. Definite cream ale taste, slight sweetness. This beer really does nothing for me.

4.4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 10/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
This light yellow beer with a sweet aroma is my session beer when snowboarding. The creamy mouth feel and very slight hop flavor goes down too easily.

12oz in NYC. Sweet creamy ale, a little hard candy. Fruity, lactic, light body. Smooth, enjoyable.

la simplicidad se hace realidad con esta ale de trago larguisímo.
Sería genial encontrarla en España de grifo.

Not much on the nose, some fruits and malts with very little hope profile, a good beer pong beer I suppose

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Poured from a bottle as a yellowish/golden color. Aroma is malt and sweet with a fruity smell, maybe juicy fruit. Flavor is sweet and creamy. Full body. Not bland. Decent beer.

This is one of my top 5 all time beers. extremely popular in my area and with good reason. it is one of the few full flavor beers that you will see light beer drinkers drinking. all i can say is it’s an absolute treat. go try some if you haven’t.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
12o bottle that poured a slightly cloudy yellow with a white head. Excellent example of the style. Nice sweet aroma of corn and possibly wheat. The flavor was light and refreshing. Very pleasantly surprised as to how good this was.
