Very enjoyable and smooth. Not too hoppy at all but nice dark fruit, malt and nut characteristics.

Intense grain and bread malts, caramel, straw. Clear, dark gold, medium, creamy, white head. Light bitter. Sweet-ish grain and bread malts, caramel, bitterness returns, light alcohol, lively carbonation, dry and bitter finish. Decent Märzen, nicely malty, but not too sweet. Keg at the brewery, New Glarus.

From the bottle the pour is clear with a golden orange color with an off white head, the aroma is almost not there, the taste is crisp but is missing the depth of flavor, the finish is light malts

UPDATED: FEB 10, 2016 Poured 12oz brown bottle into a willybecher glass, a crystal-clear, medium orange amber colour with beige foam, thin but lasting head. 100% true-to-style German Oktoberfest lager, and a particularly good one. Grainy, very nutty and biscuity, faint rich malty sweetness, pleasant earthy and peppery noble hop balance. Medium body and carbonation, pleasant mouthfeel, lingering malty aftertaste. Smooth lager traits, no alcoholic heat at all. Tasty and very well-crafted.

Pours a copper hue with a moderate head. Smells malty and slightly hoppy. Has a good malt and hop flavor. Very smooth taste. Probably the best example of the style I have had so far. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle @ Derek’s. Thanks for sharing! Deep amber pour with a small head. Fairly neutral nose. Some bread and honey. Little else. Flavor is similar. Mildly toasty. Sweet malt. Apple. Slight grassy bite. Medium body, active carb.

Bottle shared with koleminer20, out of Dumpster Day box #1. Aroma is sweet malt, sugar, some fruit, maybe yams. Appearance is orange, off white head. Taste is off-puttingly plain. Just basic malt. Nothing really else. Mouthfeel is medium body, light carbonation, no real aftertaste. Overall, what the hell is the appeal of this style?

12 oz bottle shared with ebone1988. This was an extra from a trade a while back and placed into Dumpster Box No. 1. The pour is a clear orange ruby color with a light tan head that falls to a collar, leaving a light soapy residue on the glass. The aroma is really sweet. There is the general spice and malt to it, and it smells like an Oktoberfest should. I'm not a big fan of them, but they have a familiar smell. Malty, metallic, and spicy. The flavor is much of the same. A plain sweet malt and not a whole lot else. The spiciness faded right out, leaving a sweet malt behind. Not bad. The mouth feel is just weird. Somewhat thick with a light carbonation and a quick fading finish. The sweetness is all that's there, but it doesn't last. Strange, but not awful. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

December 4, 2015 - bottle from WI. Clear orange pour with some head that faded quickly. Aroma was sweet malty and spice. Taste was consistent with aroma and dry grainy finish.

Bottle, thanks George999! Bready malt aroma with light caramel malt notes. Pours clear Amber colored with a thin, white head with OK retention and very little lacing. Starts with a lot of bready malt flavors with a thin body. Finishes smooth with a touch of caramel malt flavors. Decent, drinkable Oktoberfest, but a little weak compared to others.
