COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Who is qualified to judge one's contribution? Is it the pure Wisconsin barley malt or shall credit be given to traditional German and English hops? Maybe it is the Belgian Monastic yeast or the Brewer's tender care? Combined, this is a sophisticated Abbey style ale. Both elegant and drinkable this ale is cleanly aromatic with spicy notes of clove and ginger. Crisp and fragrant up front while gracefully sliding into warm malt notes at the finish. Fermented natually in this bottle, the beer in your hand is a living testament to the value of many working together to create something bigger than the individual parts. Moving a mountain begins with a single stone.

Light gold, white head. Clove, sweet smelling breadiness. Some small amount of fruitiness. Slightly sour, bitter. Predominantly malty sweetness. Mid body, small amount of carbonation. Really pleasant mouthfeel. Nice, quite malty for a Belgian ale. Well balanced. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

12 oz. bottle. It pours a hazy yellow color with a dense white head. Lots of streaming bubbles. The aroma is up front with banana, pepper, dried fruit and baking spice. The flavor is pretty dry and crisp with some light bready malts, doughy yeast, banana, and some light acidity before a spicy, frothy finish. Mild baking spice at the end. Nice and light bodied, but not really my cup of tea.

finally get to try this, had a bottle break in one of my first trades. i didnít lick the glass shards.. . . earthy and mild, mild yeast .. . perfect mouth, clean finish .. . . the main reason I donít go skydiving is because it involves jumping out of a plane.

Fruit and yeast. Sweet slightly "wheaty" aroma. Pours very cloudy light yellow with a thick fluffy foamy bright white head. Fresh, clean, fruity. A slight sour yeasty hint and a little bubblegum on the finish. Distinct wheat beer feel and flavor. Nice easy drinking beer.

February 14, 2014 - bottle from Churchills. Cloudy yellow pour with some head. Aroma was fruity and spicy. Taste was consistent with aroma, but also a touch of hops.

Thanks to iNBE. Again New Glarus produces a very good beer. The belgian yeast really stands out, it is almost hefeweizeny. Big soft mouth feel but tiny little bubbles to fizz at the end. Serving: Bottle

Bottle. The pour is light. The aroma has strong crisp belgian nose. The taste is light and airy. Drinks easy, would be a good summer beer on a hot day. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Nice aroma of peppery fruit and spices...hints of peppermint. Plae golden in color...lively carbonation. White head dissipates quickly. Sweet fruit up front. Nice balance of sweet, spices and fruit. Light mouth feel, effervescent. Finishes with enough bitterness to balance nicely. More of a refreshing, summer beer than typical Belgian ale, but nice.

Rated on 12-09-2009 (Bottle) When poured, this beer forms a medium sized very fizzy white head that quickly dissipated, hazy straw body, fizzy carbonation, and no lacing. The Aroma is sweet, fruity, spicy, and clove. The Taste is sweet, malty, clove, spicy, and finishes dry. This beer is light bodied. In conclusion, this is an easy, light drinking beer, refreshing and would be a good summer beer. This beer is worth trying and a beer that I would drink again and recommend.

From a bottle. Very interesting, itís got a hefeweizen character with some spiciness. Slightly distracting iron character.
