COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Teased from the loam by the kiss of the Sun. Mom’s Strawberry Rhubarb delights are the happy memories of childhood. Diploma Master Brewer Dan employed juicy sweet Strawberries to tame the barbaric wild tart fermentation of rhubarb. Escaped from the far corners of neighboring yards, local rhubarb was incorporated into the wild sour fermentation to create this drinkable dream. Bright sour and effervescent. Toast chilled cold to Bright skies, fireflies, bare feet and rhubarb pies!

bottle. deep amber brown with one finger head. huge strawberry. initially quite sweet, but finishes more on the tart side. as with most of new glarus’ fruit beers, it’s ridiculous how much fruit flavor is packed in this beer.

Light ruby pour. This beer features heavy rhubarb notes but also an extrenely hefty tart-ness that doesnt help the palatr at all. Still, NG knows how to do fruit beers.

Served in a flute to celebrate St-Jean-Baptiste Day with some cherry pie. It’s definitely not such a great looking beer pouring a muddy bronze color. The nose on the other hand is fantastic strawberry jam and rhubarb. Wow, this is great. First hit sweet strawberries, then jam, rhubarb, a tartness and acidity. Incredibly light bodied with a sparkling water type of carbonation. A stunningly well made fruit beer that doesn’t get too sweet.

Muddy brown with a small off white head. Big nose of rhubarb, but tastes of strawberries. A bit fizzy like a soda pop, Paired well with some Humboldt fog and Brie cheeses. Jammed to Alan Parsons the Raven while rating.

6/3/15: 750 ml. bottle. Murky brown color with a medium head. Would have expected it a bit more red, but the strawberry aroma is there. Sweet, light tartness and very refreshing. Great summer beer.

Bottle. Pours a cloudy orange copper with large frothy off white head that lasts. The aroma is strong strawberry cake, floral, wheat. Medium mouth with strong strawberry cream, tart, lingering sweetness, very nice.

Bottle. Murky maroon, the color and shininess of a decade-old penny. Some floaters are visible throughout; a pillowy, tan head leaves beautiful spotted lace. Sweet aroma. Tons of squeezed strawberries, a hint of earthy rhubarb. There isn’t much else to it, but not much else is necessary. There’s better balance between the two main ingredients in the flavor. which is a perfect blend of tart rhubarb and sweet strawberry. Slight acidity, with a flash of tartness at the finish. Medium-light body, low carbonation. Juice-like in feel and flavor, this brew is just what it purports to be: strawberry, rhubarb and alcohol.
