Teased from the loam by the kiss of the Sun. Mom’s Strawberry Rhubarb delights are the happy memories of childhood. Diploma Master Brewer Dan employed juicy sweet Strawberries to tame the barbaric wild tart fermentation of rhubarb. Escaped from the far corners of neighboring yards, local rhubarb was incorporated into the wild sour fermentation to create this drinkable dream. Bright sour and effervescent. Toast chilled cold to Bright skies, fireflies, bare feet and rhubarb pies!

Poured from bottle into fluted glass. Opaque reddish-brownish color with fizzy off-white head that dissipates completely over time. Smells like a jar of strawberry jam. Taste has some strawberry and rhubarb (of course), with plenty of tart-ness. Feel is a bit fizzy. Overall, a pretty tasty fruit brew. I like some of the others better, though.

Courtesy of Todd! Man, this stuff looks like caramel in a glass, it’s awesome looking, with fine lacing bubbles to round it out. Funky/stewed berries and rhubarb, light caramel sweetness, comforting dessert in a glass. Biting on the tongue, there’s a spicy tang throughout with mellow/fruity sweetness to even things out. As it warms notes of fresh strawberry in the aroma, a little bit of greenery as well. Creamy with a spikey carbonation makes for a playful experience, finishes with a very pleasant fruity/berry note that dries out quickly giving way to toast/wood that lingers. Very NG in execution, would be hard to mistake for another brewer though feels a little less serious than some of the others I’ve had from them recently... a bit less focused and more fun. Couldn’t ask for a better end of summer evening brew.

Bomber bottle. Pours reddish brown, slight head. Aroma’s sweet strawberry and sour. Taste is sweet strawberry, bit of rhubarb at the back. A fruit beer for summer.

Yum! Strawberry-rhubarb pie is probably my favorite pie...so this beer had to be a slam dunk. And it was - tart and sweet at the same time, just like the pie filling you’d expect. Great beer.

A reddish, brownish mystery color, with a big head that disappears fast. Fantastic strawberry aromas, as well as some mild malt. Strawberry is strong and obvious but it’s well restrained. Sugary sweet, rhubarb is a nice bitter balance. Just amazing

Cloudy, orange-gold, some redness. Light tan head. Huge sweet strawberry nose, candy. Initially sweet, then turns quite sour, pretty dry finish for as sweet as it starts. Finish is pretty long, quite a lot of carbonation as well as acidity. Very well balanced, very interesting. Awesome beer. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Smells like strawberries. Medium fizzy carbonation. Very slightly foamy. Taste is both sweet and tart strawberry along with some sort of vegetable taste which I assume is rhubarb (I’ve never had rhubarb). Aftertaste is less than 10 seconds and the same.

Bottle to glass. Pours a slight hazy deep amber color with a light peach colored head. Aroma is apple cider, light strawberries, sweet. Flavor brings out much more of the strawberry character. Quite sweet. Mild tartness. Strong lingering fruity sweetness in the finish. Delicious and refreshing!

On draught at the brewery. Pours a murky brownish-amber color with a medium creamy light beige head that diminishes slowly. Patchy lacing on the glass. Aroma of strawberries and malt. Light-bodied with flavors of strawberries, tart rhubarb and caramel malt. The finish is fruity with a lingering strawberry aftertaste. Enjoyable all around.

Pour is a murky copper with some ruby edges and a tight tan head. Nose is earthy up front, root notes, strong strawberry fruit rollup comes in behind. Taste is more clean strawberry jam with a faint earthiness to balance. Really soft body and fairly assertive carbonation with a semi dry finish. A hint if tartness in back as the bright strawberry jam lingers.
