12 oz bottle into a snifter. Pours an ever so hazy golden amber with some flimsy white edging. Aroma is clearly apples, a nice blend of tart and sweet. A bit of wheat and spice on the end. Taste is similar, very tasty and fresh apple juice with a grainy/wheat finish and a lingering sweetness. Crazy delicious. Crisp and medium bodied, never syrupy or cloying. This is scary drinkable and the best apple influenced beer Iíve ever had. Awesome!

4.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Aroma is almost all apples. It really reminds me of Martinelliís Apple Cider. Faint maltiness in the background and not quite as sweet.
Pours a fairly clear copper orange with a somewhat thin off-white/light tan head that quickly recedes to the edges.
Flavor is very similar to the aroma. A light malt note and faint bitterness, but otherwise it is like drinking non alcoholic apple cider. Moderate sweetness but not sticky at all. The apple flavor gets stronger as it lingers on your tongue. Finish is apples and a faint cracker malt note.
Mouthfeel is medium light bodied with medium carbonation; this is the big difference from apple cider - it has more body to it. Faint astringency and low alcohol warmth.
Overall its a very interesting beer. Should I even call it a beer? So much apple character with a faint malt presence and a bit more body than regular cider. This isnít like drinking a beer with some apple character, but instead like drinking apple cider with a hint of malt.

One of the best Apple Aleís Iíve had. just the right mix of ale and apple. Apple aroma is strong but not overpowering. Light and crisp into the mouth and through to the finish, with a nice little bite at the end. A nice change of pace.

4.3 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Pours light copper with little head. Smells like apple cider. Very fruity aroma. Interesting flavor. Lots of apple flavor. Very tart. At the same time, lots of malt flavor. If you can imagine a nice amber beer with tart apples, blended oddly very nice, because it sounds horrible, but is actually great, this would be it. This is definitely not a cider. This is a must try if you want something different.

I love the copper color that fills your glass from the first drop. Strong wheat & apple presence. Great fall flavors from each of the apples included in this ale.

Pours a fairly clear light orange color. Big green apple aroma with light vinegar note. Big apple flavor, like fresh squeezed apple juice. Big carbonation and juicy.

The apple flavor is perfect, not too sweet or too tart, and doesnít overwhelm the crackery beer base. Itís not an equal partnership but itís closer than most and certainly coudnít be mistaken for simple cider. The low ABV is making me seriously consider drinking a zillion of these. Yum yum yum yum. Wisconsin!
