COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Apple Ale sings with the fresh crisp taste of Wisconsin Apples. Our brewmaster begins with a brown ale base employing Wisconsin farmed wheat and a blend of Cortland, MacIntosh and Jonathan apples. Our apple growing friends squeeze them especially for this brew. Expect this ale to pour a beautiful copper color. The fresh bouquet of Apple will rise to meet you even before the glass touches your lips.

Pours light copper with little head. Smells like apple cider. Very fruity aroma. Interesting flavor. Lots of apple flavor. Very tart. At the same time, lots of malt flavor. If you can imagine a nice amber beer with tart apples, blended oddly very nice, because it sounds horrible, but is actually great, this would be it. This is definitely not a cider. This is a must try if you want something different.

I love the copper color that fills your glass from the first drop. Strong wheat & apple presence. Great fall flavors from each of the apples included in this ale.

Pours a fairly clear light orange color. Big green apple aroma with light vinegar note. Big apple flavor, like fresh squeezed apple juice. Big carbonation and juicy.

Bottle thanks to cbfobes. Nose full of green apples. Taste is all apple but not cider. This makes my head hurt. Many apple but not cider. Kinda sweet. Chill.

Clear dark golden with a filmy head, high visible carbonation and no lacing. Aroma of apples, cider, spices and some pale malts. Flavor is apples, cider, cinnamon and pale malts. Light body and mild-moderate carbonation. So tasty!

The apple flavor is perfect, not too sweet or too tart, and doesn’t overwhelm the crackery beer base. It’s not an equal partnership but it’s closer than most and certainly coudn’t be mistaken for simple cider. The low ABV is making me seriously consider drinking a zillion of these. Yum yum yum yum. Wisconsin!

This year 2013, I think Pours a hazy gold with a broken white sheet atop. Smells like apples! And maybe a bit of cherry juice as well. Flavor is sweet apples with just a hint of tartness on ’em, some caramelized sugars, some bits of grain. Medium on thin with prickly low-mod carb and a semi dry finish. I like this beer, I bet it’s cheaper than the Lindeman’s also. I wish there were more of these apple ales, I quite like them when done well.

Golden in color with an average sized bubbly head. Aroma is of apple juice, spice, and a little bit of booze. Flavor is pure apples with a background sweetness of caramel. Finish is smooth, even more apples!
