4.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
This beer is simplicity itself, but that can be a beautiful thing. Deep gold in colour this beer has an incredible aroma and taste of fresh apples. Not overly sweet, it almosts tastes like a cider, but I found it delicous.

Poured a medium amber copper color with a smaller off white head. Smells like the apple pie filling. Tastes of sweet apples. Sweet. Cinnamon sugar. Iím not much of a fruit beer kinda of guy, but this one was good. Thanks to goldtwins for trading me this one.

Amber with a frothy head and spotty lacing. Tart apple with bitter hops in the nose. Flavors of tart apples and some cinnamon. Dry and dusty with a tart finish.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Pours a medium copper color, and the aroma is strong sweet apples. This beer presents a strong apple taste, with some very light malt hints when the beer is not cold, as well as pear hints too. Not a bad beer, but a bit too sweet for my taste. Thanks to eyedrinkale for the bottle!

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Light amber colour with a small head. Aroma is apples, some citrus and pears. Flavour was sweet without the sourness of apples I was hoping for. Good beer but nowhere near as good as their Raspberry Tarte.

This bottled brew from J. Squire poured a medium sized head of fine to medium sized off-white colored mostly lasting bubbles that left behind a poor lacing and a carbonated transparent brown colored body. It had a malty fruity aroma, but I could not place the apples it int. It had a tingly mouth feel that mellowed in the finish with a apple flavored aftertaste. The flavor contained notes of cinnamon and spice. After a while, the red apple flavor begins to come out as it warms up to play with your senses.

Amber color, light head. Nose of mild apples & malts, sweet flavor, too extractive.

I guess I like fruit beers and wonít admit it. If you ask me, Iíd say I donít like them, but when the fruit beers are as good as New Glarus, my ratings wonít reflect that.
Thanks to MrFacto who sent me this and to TheBeerCellar2 for another one!
This has a large creamy head of off-white that rides on a pectin hazed copper brew. Light malt and apple aroma.
Well balanced brew that starts with sweet caramel malt on the tongue and then changes over to a fruity apple tartness. Like the combination you get with a caramel dipped apple.
The palate is full and creamy yet light and lively as well. A different and enjoyable brew.

Apple aroma and cidery in the flavour. Not a cider yet very appely for a beer. New Glarus never ceases to amaze me.

I thought this tasted just like the apple pies that they sell at McDonalds - itís only missing the crust! Strong apple-cinnamon-brown sugar aroma. Itís a pretty good looking brew - looks like a brown bubbly, slightly hazy apple juice. Taste is full and sweet, not as "sharp" as a cider - smooth bodied. Thanks for sharing this, Garin!
