Apple Ale sings with the fresh crisp taste of Wisconsin Apples. Our brewmaster begins with a brown ale base employing Wisconsin farmed wheat and a blend of Cortland, MacIntosh and Jonathan apples. Our apple growing friends squeeze them especially for this brew. Expect this ale to pour a beautiful copper color. The fresh bouquet of Apple will rise to meet you even before the glass touches your lips.

12 ounce bottle brought to me from Wisconsin by a friend. Thanks Jenny! Pours a clear light orange color with a medium head. Good head retention that does not leave much lacing. Aroma is strong, tart apple cider. Subtle graininess is there if you look for it, but the apples do dominate. Flavor is apple cider with a tart champagne like finish and some spices. Full bodied and very smooth with lively carbonation. This is very nice.

Bottle from Festival Foods in La Crosse. The beer pours a clear pale amber color with a medium somewhat fizzy off-white head that burns away quickly. Stringy lacing. Apple juice aroma. Medium, dry body with and apple flavor that is more apple juice than apple cider. There is a touch of sweet malt as well. The finish is effervescent and fruity with a very short apple aftertaste. Decent overall.

Poured a medium amber copper color with a smaller off white head. Smells like the apple pie filling. Tastes of sweet apples. Sweet. Cinnamon sugar. I’m not much of a fruit beer kinda of guy, but this one was good. Thanks to goldtwins for trading me this one.

Bottled: Orange colour. Clear. Apple, sweetness, stearin in the aroma. Flaovur is very sweet and cloying. Obvious apple flavour, thats a bit too much for my likings. Ends on a very sweet note. Thanks Jeppe for sharing.
