COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Apple Ale sings with the fresh crisp taste of Wisconsin Apples. Our brewmaster begins with a brown ale base employing Wisconsin farmed wheat and a blend of Cortland, MacIntosh and Jonathan apples. Our apple growing friends squeeze them especially for this brew. Expect this ale to pour a beautiful copper color. The fresh bouquet of Apple will rise to meet you even before the glass touches your lips.

355ml bottle @ ZZT III, courtesy of Martinus. Clear orange-golden color, small white head that disappears quickly. Smells fruity, a lot of apple indeed. Taste apple, sweetness, cinnamon and some hints of wood. Lightly sticky texture, low body, low carbo.

Bottle from Ratman. Pours clear copper with a small, fizzy white head, short retention with light lacing. Aroma is average malt (bread, cereal), light hops (earthy), and average esters (apple/pear) with notes of cinnamon, apple, and earth. Flavor is average malt (bread, biscuit, cookie), light hops (earthy), and average esters (apple/pear) with notes of buttered, cooked apples with cinnamon; faint crust notes. Light body, low warmth and creaminess, medium carbonation with a dry finish.

12 ounce bottle brought to me from Wisconsin by a friend. Thanks Jenny! Pours a clear light orange color with a medium head. Good head retention that does not leave much lacing. Aroma is strong, tart apple cider. Subtle graininess is there if you look for it, but the apples do dominate. Flavor is apple cider with a tart champagne like finish and some spices. Full bodied and very smooth with lively carbonation. This is very nice.

12 oz. bottle, sent from FullObs (thanks Brett), pours a hazy copper / bronze with a small white head. Aroma of green apples that pretty much dominate, with a bit of candied sugar sweetness. Flavour reminds me more of an apple cider, with fresh green apples and a bit of sweetness - well-balanced. No hint of the wheat or brown ale qualities. Solid flavour profile for being < 4%, but the whole thing feels a bit whimsical, especially compared to Raspberry Tart and Wisconsin Red. Nevertheless, solid refreshing light fruit beer.

Bottled: Orange colour. Clear. Apple, sweetness, stearin in the aroma. Flaovur is very sweet and cloying. Obvious apple flavour, thats a bit too much for my likings. Ends on a very sweet note. Thanks Jeppe for sharing.

muddy orange, strong granny apple aroma, rich apple flavor, not at all like a cider, not sweet or bitter, like drinking a dry apple butter

Bottle from noncaloric. Thanks so much. Pours a nice golden color with a quickly disappearing white head. Aroma is crisp and clean and apples apples and more apples. Flavor is a shocker APPLES. Tart and sweet with one thing that differentiates this from ciders it actually finishes with the slightest beer flavor. A wonderful change of pace and my wife will be very happy.

Poured a medium amber copper color with a smaller off white head. Smells like the apple pie filling. Tastes of sweet apples. Sweet. Cinnamon sugar. I’m not much of a fruit beer kinda of guy, but this one was good. Thanks to goldtwins for trading me this one.
