Reminds me of ??? Apple juice with carbonation??? Pretty good. Not as unique as the other New Glarus fruit beers Iíve had, but still pretty good.

I love the copper color that fills your glass from the first drop. Strong wheat & apple presence. Great fall flavors from each of the apples included in this ale.

Very good, but not entirely what i had in mind. Fun. Could call it a soda. Fruit beers are hard to gage. Some are just hints of the fruit flavor and others...(this) are overwhelming in flavor....and overwhelming in sweet. Though, if a beer is called apple ale it should have apple flavor. Perhaps just too sweet for me. I believe that alcohol should be a little more difficult to consume than this beer. Good in the winter. grown up apple juice.

Wonderful apple aroma. Mouthfeel and taste is more reminicent of fresh apple cider, not beer. The brown ale base used for this beer must be very very mild. None the less a refreshing and tasty brew.

From bottle poured a murcky copper color. Aroma of green apples. Carbonation is very high. Some taste of carmel along with candied sugard. Very nice beverage.

Bottle. Pours slightly cloud orange-amber with tiny white head that quickly disappears. Nose is freshly peeled apple and apple skins. Light hints of cinnamon. Taste is akin to apple cider, some cinnamon. Champagne like carbonation. Slightly tart. Really tasty. Wow this stuff is delicious!

the best apple ale Iíve had with a wonderful palette and taste. It is very fresh and made of Wisconsin, fresh apples. It has a pleasing sparkling apple aroma and tastes very from the tree fresh and ripe and not overbearing to the underlying ale flavor.

4.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 17/20
One of the best Apple Aleís Iíve had. just the right mix of ale and apple. Apple aroma is strong but not overpowering. Light and crisp into the mouth and through to the finish, with a nice little bite at the end. A nice change of pace.

This beer is surprisingly good. Smells like apples, tastes like apples mixed with beer. Very unusual but comes together wquite nicely. Mouthfeel is a little light but so is the ABV so that makes sense. Of course I could think it tastes like hell because as soon as my wife tried it she said "this is mine, I love it" so my review is fairly abridged and going with her take on it. Guess Iíll have to get me (us) some more of this.

1/08/14 poured from bottle into shaker pint glass. Thick head with a dark amber, copper color. Active carbonation from walls of glass. Aroma is off putting, like cloyingly sweet dirty socks. Taste is apple juice + beer. Why is this combination necessary? Let's agree to disagree and walk away.
