Well, the label does not mislead -- tastes of fresh, red delicious apples. Refreshing, light, and not too sweet, this one-dimensional brew is great for the fall. Thanks MrFacto!

3.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Nice golden body with a small white head. Light carbonation. Aroma is pure, sweet apple juice. Taste is not very complex either with delicious apple flavors and a slight tart finish. The nice rich mouthfeel and full body are the best attribute... New Glarus seems to accomplish this in fruit beers like no other brewer Iíve tried.

UPDATED: JUL 9, 2014 Very crisp medium malt and hops. Nice flavor. But it really doesnít taste like beer. It tastes like Apple Cider. Worth drinking as a novelty once in a while

12 oz bottle courtesy of adrian910ss. Pours a copper colour with a foamy quickly dissipating white head. Aroma of motts apple juice and not much else. Tastes like carbonated apple juice. Disappointing!!

4.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Pours thick with no head. Deep apple color. Looks, smells and tastes alot like apple cider without the bitter bite. Sweet, with a drying slightly tart finish. Excellent fruit beer. This bottle was on discount at a local beer shop. The date was 12/98. I was nervous about it, but it held up VERY well!

4.4 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
This is a back rate from a while ago, but probably one of the best beers I have ever had. Aged for 2 years (2008 bottle), I donít like the fresh ones as much, but they are still great. Tastes more like an apple cider (not a hard cider) than a beer. Aroma is fresh apples, tastes is the same, just fresh and sweet without that fake sugary sweetness. Seriously, just awesome.

4.2 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
A spare head with spare lacing. Pours an amber color. Aromas of orange peel, bubble gum, and lots of fruit (apple, pear, peach, and cherry). Pure bliss from an aroma standpoint (yes, I like fruit beers). Definite fruit bouquet, in an AWESOME beer.

3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Pours apple juice colored. Head quickly fades to nothing. Kind of like a light, sweet cider. Nose is sweet with apples, continues to palate. Kind of wish it was carbed a bit more, but fun to drink nonetheless.

4 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Iíve had many bottles of this in the past and I donít know why I havenít gotten around to rating yet. Pours light golden with bright white head. Aroma is all apples and likely would be confused with apple juice if I didnít know otherwise. Flavor loaded with sweet apple deliciousness and tart finish. On par with prior fruit beers from NG. Glad they decided to make it again.
