A few times a year we cut Dan loose to brew whatever he choose. Always handcrafted, the bottle you hold is brewed for the adventurous soul. This is a very limited edition and we make no promises to ever brew this style again. A provocative 85 IBUs reverberates cleanly through this Double IPA. True hop saturation from kettle boil to dry hop cellaring dominates this elegant and lustful sensory enchantment. You hold a deceptively seductive Original Gravity of 19.2 Plato, now 9% ABV following the always 100% natural bottle fermentation. Luscious English Maris Otter malt is the essential heart of this voluptuous double IPA. Surrender is inevitable so enjoy now.

A: The beer pours a bright golden orange color with a fluffy white head. S: A nice citrus aroma to the beer with lots of grapefruit and lemon peel. A mild pine note as well as some floral character. A hint of caramel malt and bread is also present. T: Big time lemon peel and perhaps even some lemon flesh. A lot of grapefruit is present as well as some grass and pine. Mild bread and malt flavor with a decent bitterness on the back end. M: The body and carbonation are both medium. O: This was quite a nice Double IPA. Really crisp and refreshing.

Bottle shared by Bunker. Poured clear orange copper color with an average to large frothy off-white head that mostly lasted with excellent lacing. Moderate to heavy earthy citrus hop aroma. Medium to heavy bittersweet flavor with a medium to heavy bittersweet finish of moderate to long duration. Medium to full body with a slick texture and soft carbonation and soft alcohol bite at the finish. Standout brew.

12 ounce bottle from the brewery. Brought back to me by my friend Jay at Beer Run. Pours a clear amber color with a large frothy white head. Good head retention and lacing. Big citrus hops in the aroma... very lemon forward. Some faint malty notes. The taste is earthy, peppery and citrus hops. Mostly citrus. Candied citrus reminiscent of Lemonheads candy with no sweetness. Pale malty notes. Well balanced. Nice beer.
