What a great beer, everything you would look for in a well balanced double IPA. a great west coast style IPA from the heart of America. this should be a year round beer. I would by it (if it was available in PA) by the keg. reminds me of a fuller bodied sculpin.

Bottle enjoyed last night from Mr. Ed. WILBUUURRR! Pours gold with a big foam off white head that leaves a layer of lacing. Nose of pine and grapefruit. Taste is plenty bitter, adds a layer of mango and mellon midway. Body is full. How much weed does on have to do to make a sitcom around the concept of a talking horse?

3.3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20 Dragonfly1 (415) - - JUN 12, 2013
Bottle ftom Mars Cheese Castle. Pours much clearer and lighter thsn expected, a light orange with minimal foam. Aroms is musty, earthy, with orange peel and alcohol. This is thick and syrupy. Very prickly carbonation, taste is still musty, hops are very bitter, although the bitterness isn’t defined... not citrus or floral, i guess maybe more on the piney side of things. This is a good beer, but overall pretty straightforward. Expecting more for $14.00 a 4-pack.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 17/20 HighWine (858) - Whalezbro, Illinois, USA - MAY 16, 2013
Bottle to snifter. Light kumquat flesh color with a thin but clingy white head. Decent lace. Aroma is a delightfully dank tropical fragrance. Citra "fuel" up front but lots of tropical fruit smells. Taste is pretty nice. Same tropical fruit flavor but distributed in a layered and complex way throughout the taste. A sip of this followed by a sip of water makes me think of Juicy Fruit gum,. Light bodied with a dry finish. Again, pretty freaking nice.
