Sample pour of beautiful golden liquid with a full white fluffed head. Nose is light and pleasant, smooth malt with mild spices and mild sweetness. Maybe coriander, but faint. Flavor follows suit with good spices up front and a mild sweet lingering finish. Easy drinking and smooth. Well done

Pretty yellow straw color and persistent head. Light belgiany yeast nose with some white pepper. Taste follows with some bright lemon citrus and pepper. Nice summer beer.

Bottle to snifter...because it was convenient! Clear apricot co,or pour with lots of bubbles streaming upward to for a dense white head. Head looks like buttercream frosting in the glass with a full coating for lace. Aroma is immediately surprising because of the banana a fruity fragrance. White wine aromas emerge with a nose int the glass. Taste is big, and yeastie with bubblegum followed by citrus pith bitterness. Out of the ordinary bit well done brew.

Pours slightly cloudy gold with a fizzy white head. Aroma of yeast, lemon and wheat. Taste is similar with a bit of peppery spice. A bit too fizzy for my taste.

Hazy golden pour with a nice, thick white head that dissipates pretty quickly. Slightly citrus nose, just a touch earthy. Really nice belgian spice to the taste that lingers in the aftertaste as well. Just a touch organic solvent (phenol-ish) but nice.

Bottle via Eric, thanks. Served in a tulip: Pours a mostly clean golden hue with a big fluffy head and good lace. The aroma has notes of biscuity malts, flowery hops, honey, bubblegum and spicy Belgian yeast esters. The taste is moderate yeast driven spiciness over a layer of pale grains and some light continental herbal hops. The finish is peppery and sprite. The mouth feel is very lively, sharp and refreshing. A solid brew, very enjoyable.

Serving: 12 oz. bottle via trade from madbeerbaron. It pours a cloudy yellow orange with a decent white head. The nose has some Belgian yeast notes, sweet malt, light florals and a touch of honey. The light on the tongue with lots of prickly carbonation. Lots of flavor with floral and pale malt highlighting the yeast notes. Clean finish. Solid brew.

Crisp hazy golden coloured body with a white head - very nice looking and glowing honey at the bottom. Aroma of bright pungent belgian, spicey yeast strain with a lot of bananas, coriander seed, wheat, curacao and more lemons - nice. Full-bodied; Very chewy mouthful with a lot of yeast and wheat flavours, some bubble gum and a very sweet banana and clove finish. Aftertaste shows a hint of herbal notes with a little spice, but this is all about the yeast strain, wheat and sweetness - tastes much more to me like a belgie tripel than a traditional saison - but still a good beer and very nice to try. I sampled this twelve ounce bottle purchased from Ridgeview Liqour in Green Bay, Wisconsin on 29-July-2012 for US$2.99 sampled at home in Washington on 13-March-2013.

Bottle thanks to adnielsen ! Pour a ripe golden color with a finger of fizzy foam. Aromas have a yeasty fruit forward touch with some rustic grains coming through and a trace of herbal spice. The palate has is bright and direct with some mellow honey pear maltiness holding a round background and bright grassy carbonation rides on top. Interesting well done saison just could use a little more balance in the flavor. Tasty though.
