Finhead (1545) - OFallon, Illinois, USA - MAY 3, 2016
Clear, golden pour with a frothy, white head. The aroma has nice, floral hops. It has a medium body with slightly oily texture and lively carbonation. The bittersweet taste has some mild fruity notes and a smooth finish. The high alcohol is well-hidden in the taste.

Aroma is pine, grain, biscuit. Pours a dark golden, some nice white head. Taste is solid IPA - not West coast, not citra. Has a somewhat biscuity, graham flavor, but plenty of piney hops. Not overly resiny - body remains light and refreshing, yet full. Very drinkable for an imperial IPA.

Scipio (808) - Palatine, Illinois, USA - MAR 3, 2016
Pours a slightly hazy golden with a full white head that quickly fades. The aroma is tropical, with grapefruit, orange, tangerine, apricot, and a healthy dose of pine. The taste has some mild bitterness compared to others of this style, and has a touch of sweetness. Pine and grapefruit flavors dominate, with some lesser elements of orange and apricot. Although it isnít all that complex, it is pretty tasty. The aftertaste is a long grapefruit. Medium in body, slick in texture, and average in carbonation. I enjoyed this and Iíd buy it again,
