New Glarus does beer right. Period. This IIPA pours golden orange with a medium fluffy white head. The aroma is a perfect blend of citrus and pine notes. Smooth doesn't even begin to describe this amazing beer. The mouth feel is slightly creamy, and the taste is a delicate balance of golden malts and hop character. So great. New Glarus continues to raise the bar. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle @ Three Notch’d Tasting. Gold pour with a small head. Honeyed croissant aroma. Toast. The taste is similar. Bread and honeyed apricots. Medium body, soft carbonation. Solid.

I miss IIPA from NG, but Scream is a decent alternative. Gold color with a medium head. Aroma is citrus hops and grassiness. Taste is some malt sweetness and booze, then citrus/pine hops bitterness that’s intense and hangs on the tongue a fairly long time. While there is alcohol on the taste, it doesn’t seem like 9%. Great DIPA.

Aroma is big time citrus and passion fruit. Almost a locker room smelly feet thing going on. Cloudy orange pout with a huge head. Super dry finish. Lots of pine and citrus with a slight alcohol bite. Medium mouth. Lace present. A little fruit pith bitterness. Super bitter, but super tasty too.

Bottle pour hazy avg gold with orange hue. Nose mango, kiwi, fruity hop, sweeter flavors. Taste moderate bitter up front, then mix of sweet and floral/fruity hop flavors. Mid palate sweet malt transition to moderate bitter finish. Pretty pleasing overall.

Very hoppy aroma, a littly soapy, citrus, floral. Light yet complex. Taste is similar, but / with a super strong bitter hoppiness on top.

Bottle, thanks to Cards04. Hazy golden pour with a white head. Fresh fruity aromas, more hops in the flavour than aroma with some light bitterness. Tropical fruits and some herbal, grassy notes.

Cloudy yellow/orange body foamy white head. Lovely citrus focused IPA. Thanks cards04 for this one.

GABF 2014. This is a great ipa. tons of hop aroma with citrus and spice. Flavor has biting hop bitterness, and there is some alcohol in the flavor as well. I am sure this would leave a hop burn from a whole bottle.

New Glarus continues to be one of the best breweries in the world. Just putting out beers in all kinds of different styles and doing a great job. Really spicy floral hop profile harkens back to a pre citrus bomb IPA era but still manages a nice dryness at the backend even with the higher abv.
