New Glarus does beer right. Period. This IIPA pours golden orange with a medium fluffy white head. The aroma is a perfect blend of citrus and pine notes. Smooth doesn't even begin to describe this amazing beer. The mouth feel is slightly creamy, and the taste is a delicate balance of golden malts and hop character. So great. New Glarus continues to raise the bar. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

12oz bottle in a tulip. Pours amber with an off-white head. Aroma of floral and lightly citrusy and piney hops, some pale and caramel malts, and some dough. Flavor the same. Average texture. A decent beer.

Bottle. The pour is a vibrant golden orange. The aroma is piney hops and refreshing. The taste is big on hops and not overly bitter, people are finely figuring it out. Solid iipa that holds up to comp. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

12fl oz bottle poured into a New Glarus pint glass. Sparkling golden orange with plenty of fizzy white head. It smells like Skittles. Skittles and pine needles. It begins to taste like Skittles and then slaps your face and reminds you that this is beer you’re drinking, not candy! The moderately intense hops blast brings the pine that you smelled earlier to your taste buds. The lasting finish is all deliciously bitter hops. The palate is thick and sticky, lending credibility to the early illusion of candy. This fantastic brew is a wonderful concoction of the sweet and bitter. I love this one.

Pours a hazy golden with a thick white head with lots of lacing. Nice citrus aroma. Nice citrusy taste not hoppy or bitter. Getting a little bit more hoppy as it warms. Really good DIPA easy to drink for 9% ABV. Might be a good go to DIPA.

Nuffield (3772) - Roseville, Minnesota, USA - MAY 18, 2015
Generous and friendly aroma with plenty of citrus, pine and a hint of a familiar plastic (in a good way, like the memory of opening a new Star Wars action figure). The sweetness of the aroma finds a complement in the sticky body, but the finish and the flavor profile, while fine, didn’t hum. There was nothing not ton like but nothing, either to really love. Bottle.

New Glarus Scream has a medium, white, spongy head, a semi-clear, gold-orange appearance, and some fine, powdery sediment. Lacing is not heavy. The aroma is of strong, piney hop resin, riding alongside white bread, and the flavor is the same with sugar and a high, yet, not harsh, bitterness level. Mouthfeel is medium to heavy, and New Glarus Scream finishes a touch boozy and pretty well drinkable. RJT

12oz bottle pours a yellow amber color with a bit of head. Medium hop bitterness. Overall easy going. The flavor doesn't linger long though.
