3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Original vintage. Pours to a deep rusty amber body with a tall and totally coating long lasting white head with some pretty nice lacing. Lots of visible carbonation cascades through the body. The aroma is caramel and toffee with cinnamon and allspice. The flavor is pretty sweet with a lot of caramel everywhere. Notes of nutmeg and earthy bark pop through. At times this reminds me of a cleaner version of Anchor OSA. Spice in this beer, however is much less apparent. Medium body finishes clean.

3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Poured from bottle to glass. Orange copper hue with creamy off white head that lingered nicely. Aroma is clove, caramel, toffee, nutmeg. Mouthfeel is nice with a medium light body and crisp carbonation. Taste is dry sweetness followed by a spice and slight astringent finish. Overall this is a fun brew.

2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
12 ounce bottle. Pours reddish brown with a decent beige head. Aroma of spice, caramel, and malt. Taste is spice, caramel malt, and some fruit. Not my favorite style. Well made of course, but not what I enjoy.

2.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Had at a BOSS meeting, thanks to Goetz. Pours an amber color with one finger of off white head. Aroma is cardamon and cinnamon. Flavor follows and is heavy on the spices. It is hard for me to rate a beer like this. I absolutely hate the style - beer should never have these spices in it. But I can see how if this is the style, this one works. Nevertheless, I’m the one drinking and I hate this. So there goes.

3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Pours a cloudy copper color with a big fluffy ecru head that sustains well and leaves good lacing. Aroma of pears and light fruit along with cinnamon, ginger and slight bubble gum. Taste has some light fruit sweetness at first then the ginger and cinnamon spiciness takes over, followed by some slight biscuit malt. Finishes dry with hints of lingering spices. Mouthfeel is semi slick with a medium body and high carbonation. A well put together spiced beer but not one of of favorite styles. The most I have enjoyed a spiced beer however.

3.5 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
Pours a clear amber with a two finger head that lingers, but no lacing. Malt forward aroma, hint of booziness, nutmeg, vanilla, cinnamon and maybe some clove. Moderately bitter, but also modestly sweet. Full bodied with soft/moderate carbonation. Long spicy and bit of boozy finish.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Clear brown, off white head. This reminds me of a pumpkin beer minus the pumpkin. Spices, toffee, caramel. Tasty.
