Aroma is very sweet, kind of candy like, cinnamon, bubble gum, malt. Taste is similar, definitely malt, toffee, spice, caramel. Very nice, complex, and smooth.

Pours clear amber with a good amount of bubbles that produce a lasting off white head. This beer has a strong oak smell with lots of spice. The toffee is there too. Tastes similarly to how it smells, with a stronger toffee presence from the malt. Medium body with a lingering oaky flavor. A very good spiced ale, warming and great for winter. Will definitely get again. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Pours a clear golden orange with thick cream-tinged foam that holds to the beer and glass leaving nice lacing. Aroma is unbuttered popcorn, raisin, alcohol and hint of spice/clove. Flavor is a mix of raisin, caramel, bread, alcohol and vanilla. Palate is creamy with active carbonation to lighten the mouthfeel. Coats the tongue and washes down clean with a hint of alcohol left over.

A beautiful beer... pours a clear, radiant burnt orange. Medium creamy off-white head, lasting with lace. Aroma is noticeably spiced but in moderation and good balance. Enough to make a presence but not to dominate or cloy. Leans towards sweet, but again, very balanced. Some toffee, nutty as well, little fruity, some nice oakiness. Flavor follows right along. The spices are showcased, but at the same time applied very evenly. Medium body. Feels good on the palate. Rounded and smooth with all sorts of little nuances. Soft spiciness. Everything comes together so well. Better than the sum of its parts. Classy.

12 oz bottle pours copper with big thick head. Aroma is sweet, malty and spicy. Taste is bold malts and loads of spice. Sweet and smooth. Reminds me of a pumpkin spice ale. Great Beer!

This pours a golden amber color with a foamy, off-white head. The aroma has hints of coriander, banana, citrus, and other spices in the mix. The taste is smooth and clean with mild tastes of banana and spices that are very well blended. Finishes crisp and clean that is rather tasty and well made!

Purchased at Woodmans in Kenosha, WI; enjoyed in a drunken stupor after a nice night out in Milwaukee. I didn’t take tasting notes while enjoying this one, but remember this one being a nice reddish amber hue, great spice notes, tastes like a nice Belgian ale. Good good stuff.

Pours clear copper with white head. Nice carbonation and lacing, very nice looking beer I noticed. Aroma is cinnamon and ginger with caramel malt. Wow, lots of spice. A bunch of ginger, some cinamon that gives it a slight sweetness. Its got a nice caramel malt backbone that balances out the extreme spice a bit. Little toffee in there as well. I liked this quite a bit more than I expected.

What a nice surprise after the winter warmer last year that was exceedingly meh. Nice belgian candy nose to this one. Golden amber pour with a slight reddish hue. Fine white carbonation and lacing. Really nice belgian strong, complex, spices are complementary and not in your face, a bit of oak in the finish. Nice work R&D.

12oz bottle. Filtered orange-tan body. Thin off-white head. Not unlike a pumpkin beer in a lot of respects upon initial inspection, with some of those classic spice tones. Comes off pretty big, I’d think at least 9%. Really nice oak tones mellow it out, after awhile this really grew on me. Big, clean malt tones, caramel, vanilla. Exceptionally balanced stuff, very well done.
